 It'S great it's got this. It'S got. This metal strap on there, which you can use if your, if you extend it out, is it for a diagnose key carry well this bottom, but it just pulls it all nice and tight and within the pack. What do you all you need to do to get into? It is just just pull it open like that before cinch it clothes like that nice and easy straightforward to go to the bottom

 Having now it's just linked through the bottom, and it swings nice and easy on on either way the pack, the pack straps themselves a really lightweight, but yeah, there's still really comfortable. Actually, as is the belt strap, which has got good adjustment, I like this, pretty like this big pocket on there loads of room for your snacks sunglasses, whatever you might be to put in there the opening as well. It'S great it's got this. It'S got

 You carry also got good straps here with good adjustments. You can. You can compress the path if you're not carrying it full. This is also black time and Avalon compatible from a military perspective

 If the vest was more packed, unless I placed the probe right in the middle of the pocket, it would prevent the top from closing completely. Just another few cm would make a difference! I also like the separation between wet skins and the rest of the stuff and having the pocket be a bit bigger would help with that as well. 

My probe and shovel barely fit into the separate inside compartment length wise. My shovel is a bit longer since it also converts to an ice axe (68 cmm, BCA shaxe) but my probe is standard length (about ~45cm). If the vest was more packed, unless I placed the probe right in the middle of the pocket, it would prevent the top from closing completely. Just another few cm would make a difference! I also like the separation between wet skins and the rest of the stuff and having the pocket be a bit bigger would help with that as well

As far as sizing of the vest goes, I used the BD fit guide to figure out what size of vest I should get and based on my torso measurements, I selected a size small. The size fit perfectly. I found that the ski vest fit very similar to my running vest. All sizing in DB is unisex

 Each shoulder strap has a zipper on it. You can carry your Bc link radio on one side and your hydration tube on the other side. Bcaa was the first company to introduce freeze-proof hydration, so you know even in the coldest conditions, your hose isn't going to freeze up on the back of the pack. We have our back panel access here, so we have a zipper that goes all the way around the back panel that just allows for easy access to the bottom of the bag when you're carrying a full load

 We also inverted the waist belt so you can really pull the pack snug to your body. All these improvements help for a better ride down. Last thing you want is a pack that feels like it's flopping all over the place. Get out, check out the poacher

So you're not digging through your whole pack to grab one item. -bottom sleeping bag compartment, with exterior straps underneath for pads or tent

 -the support system is not as adjustable comparable to say the Osprey Atmos and other packs, but it fits me just great. -the shoulder straps make a small rustling sound while walking, haven't really noticed that on other types of tried.  So overall 4/5, I will probably update this review after a couple real hikes with it. I think this bag came out in 2015 so I would expect an update very soon

Fit really comfortably

 I have only two complaints that keep me from rating this five stars. First, I wish that it had a stretchy mesh pocket on both sides. It has a stretchy mesh pocket on the side opposite the water bottle holder but I wish there was a second one. Second, I wish the hip pockets were larger

This pack is amazing. I tried on several packs this past summer and no one compared to this pack for comfort. The suspension follows you as you hike and does not rub. I bought this pack for my upcoming hike of The Great Divide Trail this coming summer

Awesome pack!

 If it's spring or fall, and it's going to be separate from everything that's in the main compartment. and there's not a lot of packs out there with a second separate pocket like this that aren't dedicated winter packs, so I was super happy to find one like the Catmai wear it has that feature as well. There's tons of straps on this pack, and if you've ever gone fall or winter camping and you are carrying tons of gear, you know that having straps is good because you can start strapping a lot of your bigger bulkier items to the pack lake. Right now I have a hot tent stove on here

 You could also strap your foam pad if you are bringing that extra little piece of insulation underneath for underneath your sleeping pad. In addition to these bottom straps, which are actually also very good for strapping snow shoes onto, I've done that on a couple winter trips as well. You have some side compression straps here, Which are good for something like a foam sleeping mat and then on the other side you've got a couple more straps for things like tent poles, anything you want to strap into this side pocket here and you can also strap things underneath the brain and then. A feature that is going to be awesome for those really hot summer days, especially for those of you who run hot is the mesh backing here

 If a pocket can fit a green belly meal, then it's a good size and the Gregory Cat might just just fits one of these bars. It actually is quite tough to then do up the the pocket once you put that meal inside of it. As you can see, I'm also having trouble just keeping this pack standing up. A bad thing about it is that if you just put it on the ground then it's not going to stay standing up

 Another bad thing that I was kind of surprised about was the hip belt pockets, especially with how the trends have been to have bigger and bigger hip belt pockets. The hip belt pockets on the Gregory Katmai are really small and what I do in order to test that out is I do the the green belly meal test. If a pocket can fit a green belly meal, then it's a good size and the Gregory Cat might just just fits one of these bars. It actually is quite tough to then do up the the pocket once you put that meal inside of it

So one key feature with this bag is that they use a polygene stay Fresh technology and this inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria and allows you to not need to wash your bag as often. The bag is also made with recycled nylon that is extremely high density and this bag feels super tough and it probably won't rip too easily

 the hip belt on it is bomber and the buckle stays secured really well. I really like that it has a bunch of pockets and the access in the side here like that is super awesome.
