I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 I used up the tube, I thought maybe my skin needed time to purge so I stuck with it.  In short if you aren't silicone sensitive go for it. If you're prone to clogged pores try something without it. I stay away from beeswax, silicone, heavy oils, etc if you're like me save yourself the headache go for a retinol without such ingredients

I didn't know when I was using this product that I am sensitive to silicones. That ingredient clogs my pores horrifically and I can't use it at all. I've cut it out of everything even makeup at this point. Some people say it's totally harmless, it won't clog pores, it's only an ingredient used to create slip and lock product into place

 If you're prone to clogged pores try something without it. I stay away from beeswax, silicone, heavy oils, etc if you're like me save yourself the headache go for a retinol without such ingredients. My goal with this product was to decongest my skin, for blackheads and whiteheads.

 Well it doesn't work that way for me, some people can't tolerate it while most can.  The retinol in the product did work but while it was sloughing off the dead skin the silicone was clogging my pores at the same time which was counterproductive. (Stronger than regular Epiduo) I’ve been using Epiduo and now Epiduo Forte for 3 years. So firstly fresh out of washing my face with a gentle cleanser I put on some type of Hyaluronic acid serum. I use the Snail Mucin but even the hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary should be fine. Then I immediately go in with a decent layer of QV with ceramides (think it’s been rebranded as eczema daily care)

Hi guys! I’ve been using Epiduo for about 2 weeks now and my skin cleared up pretty quickly (except now I get some huge, almost cystic, pimples :| ). The downside is that my skin literally BURNS SO BAD when I put on moisturiser. Especially my cheeks and my eyelids. 

I’ve tried the following and they’ve all made my skin burn so bad: 
- CeraVe Moisturising Lotion
- Rovectin Clean Lotus Water Cream 
- PURITO Oat-In Calming Gel Cream
- Vaseline (straight from the tub) 
- Vaseline Intensive Care Body Lotion 

I’m going insane and I don’t know what to do. I literally dread doing skincare now because of how the moisturising bit hurts. 

Q1: Does anyone know an extremely gentle but highly hydrating moisturiser for dry and highly sensitive skin?  

Q2: Can I use bio oil as a moisturiser with Epiduo? Or will it make me breakout?
