As simple as that may seem that missing feature has me considering returning the bag. I changed out the strap fasteners with sea and summit after market fasteners to have a quick disconnect with the shoulder straps. I use 2 iPads so there is definitely room for that. The extra pocket in front is the best idea. Works great we on the go

I can still open up every single zipper in this thing and the bag stands up. Obviously if you have a weight shift ratio to one side, i am sure you can get it to fall. Straps are in excellent condition for the use of the bag. I might buy stock in Everki as quality matters that much to me

Cons: It was much heavier than my old backpack, and the amount of padding seems excessive for the size of the bag. It also did not fit fully under the seat for any of my international flights on the trip, so I ended up resting my feet on top of it. I'm short, so this wasn't too bad, but would likely be an issue for taller travelers. I didn't really want to use it on the flight home and was just going to take my purse, but it was so bulky (even empty!) it didn't fit in my suitcase
