My old Hoover did not pick up as good as this one does, but it never shut down when I hit a rug's edge. It might stop turning until I get it off the edge but it would start up again. This flaw is absolutely infuriating. I have talked with Hoover and they say that's the way it is designed so not to tangle up on a loose thread, but good God almighty, I spend as much time shutting it down and turning it back on as I do actually vacuuming

I LOVE THAT THIS CORDLESS IS BAGGED! I have no idea who thought that having a vacuum cleaner with a canister that needs to be dumped out and then wiped out because the dirt and dust sticks to the sides was a good idea, but I don't agree. I find them gross. I want a vacuum cleaner with a disposable BAG like this one! Oh and I love the handle on the back, it's the perfect place for it and makes it easy when I need to lift it. I hope this machine lasts, but I purchased the warranty just in case

But, a battery that only lasts 30 minutes? Who can clean a house in that amount of time. Might just stick this in closet or sell it. Works OK, but not for the price. And, the extra batteries are too expensive

Direct air or dirty air machines like the Hoover Onepwr Hepa+ and Kirbys air and dirt go through the motor then into the bag. Since the bag is placed after the motor there is no need for an additional filter Hepa or otherwise but many direct/dirty air machines use their outer bag as an additional layer of filtration. As to why they don’t call all their bags Hepa is probably to simplify marketing.

This little baby will stay charged for me to hit the highlights every other day or so for a week in a 2000 sq ft house that's mostly hard wood. The canister is easy to dump and I don't have to touch any of the gross stuff. I wanted a solution to have a quick option for hair and crumbs from two adults without having to get out a broom and dustpan or big vac every other day
