Keurig K-Duo Plus 5200 vs OXO Brew 8 Cup Coffee Maker

We are going to return it as it was just too expensive to have it fail to keep the coffee hot for a longer period of time.

When brewed it’s the perfect temperature but I wish the carafe would hold its temperature better. I prefer to just do smaller amounts in the carafe and repeating to make sure I always get the right temp or a single cup. Also at the end of the cycle a little puddle of water in the tank remains and needs to be wiped out. Overall the Oxo brews a nice cup of coffee

Plus, there's storage for the mesh filter right on the pot, so I don't have to go searching for the accessory. The better price tag is a big factor too, of course. I did end up buying a gold filter and a separate thermal carafe for those days when needed, although we usually drink the full carafe pretty quickly. Even with the purchase of the thermal carafe and gold filter, the price tag on this is still significantly less than the Keurig

In the future, I would probably buy a machine with a heated pad and glass pot. Value Issue This machine looks nice and is well built. I hope it will last a long time. But for me the price doesn't justify the quality or ease of use issues

I bought this coffee maker due to the design and flexibility of being able to brew a pot of coffee. The coffee tastes great, in fact better than any of the other Keurig’s I owned (4 over the years) however I like my coffee hot and this machine misses the mark. I don’t feel that I should have to microwave my coffee 5 minutes after it’s brewed. Very disappointed the temperature adjustment feature was removed

I also tested with my usual whole bean test coffee sourced from Costco (Kirkland Colombian Supremo).Regardless, the Oxo Brew 8-Cup's brewing time is well under the 8 minutes or less the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) recommends for good drip.  Thermocouple readings confirmed the Oxo Brew 8-Cup controls its brewing temperature well. After just 3 months of light use, the unit wouldn't turn on anymore. I figured we were just out of luck unless we wanted to spend $30 to ship back the dead one. However, after contacting Keurig directly, it was a fairly simple process to get a replacement unit delivered to us without shipping back the dead unit, so instead of giving this coffee maker 1 or 2 stars, I'm giving it 4 stars. It is actually a great double unit, and Keurig's stellar customer service makes it a great deal

I love this coffee maker not only it is sleek but the coffee tastes delicious too when it comes creating a perfect cup of home-brewed coffee. I love the fact that it fits under my cabinet because of the modern design. It comes with clear instructions which are easy to follow. The double-walled carafe keeps coffee hot for long without compromising the taste

Disappointed I don’t understand why you would let it brew a pot of coffee the only keeps a lukewarm for two hours I mean if you’re drinking coffee normally you would like piping hot coffee why didn’t you have it where the underneath thing was like a warmer paid all this money I’m very disappointed I’m probably going to return

Brew time on this coffee maker is really quick and the temperature of the brewed coffee is excellent. This coffee maker is unique because unlike other coffee makers that will continue to heat your coffee once it is brewed, which contributes to strong tasting coffee, this machine shuts off once the brewing cycle has finished and your coffee stays hot inside the insulated carafe. I am proud to recommend this product to all my fellow coffee lovers who love a great tasting cup of coffee!

It’s so simple to use and I can make a single cup with a k-cup if I choose, or an entire pot. This machine is so easy to clean, brew, and work with no confusion at all. In fact, I can’t come up with a single negative! I now have both Keurig on my counter because each has its own special features for different situations, and I couldn’t be hapoier. Keurig hit it out of the park with both of these models!

The machine is very sleek in design and fits nicely on my kitchen counter. The best part is that I can brew a single serve whenever I just want one cup of coffee. Also the aromas of the coffee is great. Waking up smelling the fresh brewed coffee is an extra perk! I would definitely recommend this

S. I burr grind my espresso beans fine and don't add but 4 heaping tablespoons of coffee for a pot. Comes out strong and smokey! Update: After having the coffee maker for a year now it does not make the first pot hot enough. Even if I preheat the carafe and travel mug the coffee is just not hot enough when it's not warmed up, I got 180dg in my cup
