 Not a significant difference but enough that I could actually feel the difference in the weight. I feel like if I'm carrying these around all day, this has the same size blade as this but it's just a little bit smaller and definitely fits in the hand just as nice but it's just a little more compact and it has a lot of the same features. You know this will actually use gravity and it will drop on its own to close and open But you're gonna find yourself playing with this all day long just flipping it It will lock when it's flipped open and same when it's closed so you can accidentally open it There is a lot of thumb start here that you can use if you don't want to do the whole flip action to open with Your other hand so that's a very cool feature I really like that has a lanyard hole so you can tie to rope to your wrist if you're working up high has a wire stripper here This is the model with the blade storage so in here it will hold five hold five blades Which is really cool, and the way you remove the blades. There's a little button right here What's cool about that it does have a guard up top so if you're cutting like precision cutting like this You're not gonna accidentally push the button right you have to push it here the blade slides out Get your new blade Make sure when you lock it it fully locks in you because you can lock it on the first hole And then it's not fully the way and you want to get it on the second hole on the blade right so yeah That's the big guy right here Solid build feels good my only thing is if I'm gonna be using my construction belt I probably don't need the belt clip as I'm gonna be using the pocket and when you do a lot of heavy cutting You know this wire is actually dig into your finger right so if you're not wearing gloves it might get a little annoying I've used these nice for a couple weeks now just to beat them up a little cut them some sheet rocks and wood You know cardboard the typical stuff, and they've been working great

 The kansbol is double the price and came unsharpened, the machining is choppy looking on the brushed portion and the blade has surface scratches right out of the box. The surface scratches are fine because I'm going to be using the knife and it will get scratched any way but I wish the machining was cleaner. You can see the blade is meant to have a scandi-type grind but for some reason they attempted to put a microbevel on my edge. I say attempted because they only succeeded in rounding it off

Surprised by lack of QC

I have a quite few Moras and certainly didn't need any more but I had to give this one a shot for about $30. Fist thing is first. This Kansbol looks intimidating from the side but is actually quite anemic from the top. It tapers off to about a millimeter which does not instill confidence

 The Kansbol handle is rubberized as apposed to the harder plastic handle on the Garberg which makes drawing the blade a bit annoying with the stock belt loop. You need 2 hands to draw it. I tried it with the Garberg sheath with the same result. Hopefully it loosens with more use but I have been using a custom leather with it lately so I may never find out

A bit on the thin side but good all-around knife

 Seriously. The plastic feels cheap and the entire knife, including the sheath, weighs almost nothing. I honestly feel it looks like a toy G.I

First, I really like the design of this knife. The handle fits my hand really well. I like the blade design. It came extremely sharp out of the box

 It locks into the sheath well. Cons: The big one is that the blade is coming out of the handle at an angle. It's not too bad and it doesn't bother me enough to send it back, but not the quality I expect from Mora. The belt loop on the sheath is also attached at a slight angle, where it should be straight up

 This knife isn't pretty nor is it something you're going to brag about. But it's a work-horse that I can have at ready-access anytime I need it. And for that, it's going to be my companion for the next year of trips.

My New Companion is a Kansbol

 I like it but I still wish it was like the others with the plastic clip. O like how you can clip em to your pocket or a button or belt. Whatever suits you. This sheath is nice tho with the frog attachment

I've been searching for years for a knife that had a handle that felt comfortable in my hand and nothing came collection this kansbol. It's not perfect but berry close. It feels good and handles good. My knife I noticed had a place in the belly that looked like it had been bumped against another knife

 It cost 33 dollars and change which is about my limit on knife prices but I think it was worth it. I don't think I'll live long enough to wear this kansbol out . I hope maybe this helped someone decide to buy or not but but I have to conclude with um glad I bought it.
