The CHG90's speedy 144Hz native refresh rate, achievable only over a DisplayPort connection, can be reduced to 120Hz or 60Hz in the menus. FreeSync 2 allows for variable refresh rate support between 48Hz and 144Hz over DisplayPort, and 48Hz to 100Hz over HDMI. The CHG90 also supports AMD's Low Framerate Compensation technology to provide a smooth experience even below 48Hz.

Get a 1440p 144hz monitor only once you upgrade, you won’t get good FPS in 1440p let alone 4K. Make sure you grab at least a 3060 ti for 1440p. I wouldn’t get the Lg27GL850, the nano IPS is outdated. Get instead the 27GP850 which is releasing soon and has better response times or get the M27Q from gigabyte or the MSI MAG274QRF QD

It's costly and you can definitely run dual 1080p 144hz for much much cheaper. But you're paying for the design mostly imo. It's either going to be worth the cost to you or not. It's not the best gaming panel out there, but it's far from the worst
