Do you ride with backpack or do you try to fix everything onto your frame?

I used to ride with my backpack but now I'm becoming obsessed with attaching everything on my bike. Water bottle, pump, spare tube, multitool..

First I went from backpack to hipbag and now just with my phone in the pocket. Not perfect for long rides, but my usual rides are up to 3 hours so I guess it should be ok.

Backpack or without?

 Airflow to back is slightly better with Evoc. Osprey has better cell phone storage, but the pocket has no padding.  Evoc is my choice, based mostly on larger size and more compartments.

 I typically use an osprey levity. This to me is the same. Quality feels great around the waist, no rubbing, nothing like that. I think my only complaint would be

 I have a Nalgene on one side and tokes, titanium 750 pot on the other more or less just to show that it has those capabilities. So for me I was looking for something for a hot weather, florida hiking. So i don't have to carry a full pack, but still holds the items that I feel are necessary for me for hiking, so it's very comfortable for my week-long weekend, trips overnight. It'S like that

Water is LIFE and this carries water perfectly for me on the recumbent trike!

 Not only can you not replace the bottle with one hand but even with two hands I had to take the pack off to put the bottle back!  One ride and this thing is up for sale on FB. It’s garbage. Uncomfortable, bulky, nearly impossible to drink while riding

 Given its to be used on Bike trails it could be stronger internally and better designed for the price.. Do your homework theres better out there for less money.

 Bad mistake. The osprey pack is well made on the outside but the side pockets are flimsey and the design could be stronger. Its designed to Move outward depending on the design of the bottle and not properly atatched to the belt. Secondly the internal design is paper thin between compartments and water could leak from one to the next and if you have a mobile or ipad it would be ruined

Expensive Poorly Designed Waist pack

 This fits all of the essentials I need when riding and the materials are thick and durable. I have had multiple Osprey products throughout the years and they have all held up great.
