Like most reliable manufacturers, Samsung certifies the card as shock, temperature, water, and X-ray proof. 
The only time we felt limited by the EVO Select's speed in our testing was during the burst shooting of high-quality RAW images. It could only keep the shutter chugging along for about three seconds before getting bogged down. The faster cards we tested were able to double and sometimes even triple that figure. We think the Samsung 32GB EVO Select microSDHC is a great option for those on a budget &mdash; as long as you're not shooting lots of RAW images. 

Unless you're using a fancy camera drone or dabbling in advanced photography techniques, chances are you can get away with a less than agile card. If that's the case, we think the Samsung 32GB EVO Select MicroSDHC offers a great value. Though its maximum measured write speed of 35 mb/s is only mediocre, it is more than fast enough for most tasks. In fact, in our tests, it was easily able to record 4K video and even shoot bursts of RAW images for a short period, so you shouldn't have any issues using it in a phone or security camera. I tested the old Samsung EVO microSDHC card(MB-MP32DA/AM) back in Oct 2014 and liked it. When I found this newer version (Samsung EVO Select UHS-1 32GB microSDHC ) on sale for a good price, I quickly grabbed another one.  The Amazon product page for EVO Select claims "High-performance up to 80MB/s for full HD video recording". This implies its WRITE speed is up to 80MB/s, which would be fantastic for such a low cost card

  So the new card is faster in Read but slower in Write. In most demanding applications (such as recording video in HD, or shooting DSLR in burst mode), the Write speed is the limiting factor. That means the 'EVO Select' series will not perform as well as the old 'EVO' series in those cases.  [Bottom Line] I am disappointed that the new Samsung EVO Select series is advertised as "Up to 80MB/s", yet it Writes SLOWER than the old EVO series which claims 48MB/s

 My measured results are: EVO Select - 92.5MB/s Read, 25.3MB/s Write (See my uploaded screenshot for details)  In comparison, the old Samsung EVO UHS-1 card is advertised as "Up to 48MB/s". My measured results were: EVO - 47

 However on the back of the package I received it says: "Read Speed up to 80MB/s; Write Speed up to 20MB/s"  [Benchmark] I used a program called 'CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 x64' to measure, among other things, the Sequential Read and Write speed of this card.  Most cards have the UHS-I type (singe-row pins) of interface. UHS-II has an additional row for faster transfer speeds  REAL WORLD PERFORMANCE & COMPARISON - The closest competitors to this EVO Select card are the SanDisk & Samsung's own Evo cards and they are priced pretty similarly - The only reason why I didn't go for the SanDisk card was the confusion about its U1 rating. Even though its listing & description indicates USH-1 , It does not contain the official SD Card associations standard "U1" logo (1 inside a U). I do not understand why it would claim to be UHS-1 card but not have its official mark - Samsung's own EVO range of cards have a 40Mb/s read and a higher write speed of 40 Mb/s than this EVO Select model 

 As you can see from my results the card performed very close to its claimed speeds (infact higher for write speeds) - Included SD card adapter  THE NOT SO GOOD - As you can see from my results using the adapter, even though the card is capable of 80 Mb/s read speeds , the included SD card adapter falls short and is only able to support up 25 Mb/s read speeds . This makes taking advantage of those higher speeds difficult while transferring files  FINAL THOUGHTS Overall this is a good, inexpensive card with decent performance figures for the card itself, I am kind of disappointed that the included SD card adapter is not able to support the card's maximum speeds and makes using a 3rd party card reader necessary to take advantage of its full read speeds. I think this card is worth 4 stars because the card is capable which matters more , even though the adapter is not

Good performance of the Card itself but the included adapter does not keep up with it

 I've purchased a couple at a time. By that I mean one or two over a single order, and likely a total of 10 over the last three months. All of a sudden, I've hit some oddball quantity limit via Amazon. I'm a Prime Member, and this is absolute BS!  I can understand if I tried to buy 10 of them at once, but I'd have no need to do this

The agent put me on hold a long while and came back to tell me it was shipping out today. What a coincidence! I am further convinced that customer service agents do not act on the next procedure until prompted by the aggrieved consumer.  - April 25: I receive my replacement SD card one month after reporting a card that went defective 18 months into a 10-year warranty period

 - April 4 ( Wednesday, 7 days from initial contact): I call Samsung, as I've heard nothing. Live agent says he'll expedite my ticket. Says a shipping label from UPS will arrive in 24 to 48 hrs. (weekends and holidays excluded) for me to send in my old card

These cards are decently reliable but because they make so many, they are produced in different factories with different standards of manufacture. You can see this in the speed tests being slightly different among some batches of cards. Good but not the best

Another excellent product from Samsung. Great value: why spend more? Even I have had micro-SD cards fail, I dunno what I do to the little buggers, but nowadays I make sure to 'Safely-Eject' any memory device, excepting, perhaps, my WD 1Tb My Passport, as it seems to lack the selection to safely remove in any menu-box I observe. Ah, the adventure of it all.

The latest generation of the SanDisk Extreme has a slower write speed than our top pick, which translates to slightly slower in-camera performance, but it’s still plenty fast enough for you to shoot 4K video, and it has the same warranty.

The SanDisk Extreme Go 64GB displayed an excellent balance of cost and efficiency and proved to be one of the quickest drives during our testing. It completes numerous tasks rapidly, including moving a single large file or a big folder containing a large number of small files. For example, a 5 GB folder filled with thousands of modest files wrote to the drive in just 7 minutes, proving to double the other models' typical speed. Large media files moved even faster, taking only 31 seconds to write a 5GB HD movie. Topping off this stellar performance is the price tag — the Extreme Go 64GB sells for well under the price of many premium drives on the market. The plastic construction feels relatively sturdy, and a smooth sliding mechanism retracts the connector when it's not in use. It's not super tiny, but the body is still thin enough that it won't be in the way of any other ports while in use &mdash; we had no problem plugging in a large cable for headphones in the next port over beside the drive. 
The price is on par with the performance, but if you aren't using it regularly, the cost might be more than you're willing to cough up.
