 I Don't know if you guys are going to see any kind of flickering or anything like that in the camera. Sometimes video cameras react weird to the light, but this does not have any kind of flicker or anything like that. It's super bright, super clean, steady. LED light, Let me go ahead

 However, you will have to make sure just like any other glow-in-the-dark product, that it's exposed to adequate daylight, so it'll actually be charged enough to glow at night. This Lantern is also capable of an alternate configuration that's quite useful for inside your tent. you can actually remove that globe and it has a hook that pops up the bottom and you can hang it upside down and you just have that exposed LED light but it does still have a protective case around it so this is great. Like inside your camper or your tent

 You can't adjust that down depending on what you need and as I showed you earlier, it does have an emergency strobe which is very bright, but just to show you guys on the highest setting, you can see out here on my back porch. all the lights are off so it's completely dark outside, but this thing definitely throws out some serious light now. I Don't know if you guys are going to see any kind of flickering or anything like that in the camera.  I Basically just stuck it under a lamp for about five minutes before we came out here. so it definitely will get brighter than this if you let it fully charge. UST 30 Day Duro Lantern Review

 I really only used the lowest setting in our camper/van because the others were too bright. I'm a bit concerned about battery usage/drainage because I use this lantern only when camping.

Three brightness choices

I bought this for our camp kitchen after going through 2 less expensive lanterns from a big box store.  It is most definitely bright, but I can speak to the '30 day' claim just yet.  I can say this was used on high quite a bit over the course of a cloudy rainy 3 day trip and it did not noticeably dim.

Versatile power-saving lantern, light weight and bright! Tent light feature was cool. Recommend this lantern, it's smaller, lighter and better than any of my previous camp lanterns.

 Another thing is the battery cover is easily removed but not replaced. You have to align a tiny tooth in the bottom of the cover before twisting shut. Not a friendly design feature in my opinion.

 Unless I'm you know trying to get it to do that. The other zebra light that I have is not like that. The battery fits in there super tight, and it does not do this at all, and I think that that's probably just because there's so many different diameter batteries that they that they opened that up a little bit so more batteries would work, is my guess on that. But as far as the build quality function, as far as has this flashlight in use, I've used it for a month

Zebralight sc700d Flashlight Review

Give your requirements though of 2 hours comfortably, I'd move away from AA as you'll chew through batteries too fast. You'll get better runtimes using 18650s, and even better runtimes using 21700. Honestly, if it's for urban exploration though, I'd recommend upping the budget to reach either Acebeam E70 (~100) or Zebralight SC700d (~120, it's 21700 smaller than most modern 18650, also potted for better drop protection) for better build quality.

[Help Me] I know it sounds cringe.. but looking for apocalypse torch (urban exploration, camping)

They’re also known for their excellent runtimes and high cri is very nice to have for hiking, most mainstream brands just use low cri cool white LEDs

Zebralights are potted for extra durability (most mainstream and enthusiast brands (Olight, Fenix, Streamlight, Lumintop, Emisar/Noctigon, etc) aren’t potted.

I've always liked nice flashlights. But never done a lot of research. 

I've freshly moved to areas with woods/hiking/ camping galore. And want a flashlight I can rely on to use for navigation and to identify threats, god forbid. 

my main concerns are battery life, durability, and clarity. I don't need a supernova in my pocket. I'd like it to not be massive either. 

Can y'all make some recommendations or point me in the right direction to look for myself?
