The Rad Power RadWagon 4 is one of the most popular electric cargo bikes on the market. This utilitarian model has a 350 lb weight limit, a large rear platform, and is designed to work with a huge array of aftermarket baskets, seats, and racks, so you can configure it to meet your cargo carrying needs. A strong 750W geared hub motor has no problem moving this heavyweight bike along at 20 mph while using the throttle or pedal assistance, and its large 672Wh battery helps to give it an impressive distance range. Due to its length, the RadWagon has a super stable and smooth ride quality with relaxed but predictable handling. It has a relatively low standover height making it easy to step on and off the bike, and it has a large seat and handlebar height adjustments that can accommodate riders between 5'1" and 6'4". It also comes loaded with user-friendly features like lights, fenders, a burly two-footed kickstand, USB charging, and a bell. 
There was little we didn't like about the RadWagon 4, but it's hard to look past the length and weight of this bike. Transporting it can be difficult because it is too large and heavy to fit on most bike racks, and it can be a real challenge to move it up or down stairs. Due to its Class 2 settings, it's also not the fastest bike around with a top pedal-assisted speed of 20 mph. While it can potentially replace your car, you've got to spend additional money to customize it with aftermarket accessories to really unlock its cargo carry potential. All that said, we still think this is the best reasonably priced electric cargo bike on the market.

The Rad Power RadWagon 4 is the ultimate cargo bike and is just about the closest you can get to a car replacement without adding gasoline. A wide selection of aftermarket accessories makes this bike fully customizable. Adding additional kids' seats, cargo racks, or baskets, allows you to tailor the cargo capacity to your specific needs and lifestyle, whether you are hauling kids, groceries, coolers, or whatever else you need for the day. The RadWagon 4 has a robust 750W motor that easily supports its top pedal assist and throttle speed of 20 mph, even with a large and heavy load, and the 672Wh battery and above-average range mean fewer charging sessions. A stable, 2-footed kickstand allows you to confidently park the bike with a well-balanced load without fear of tipping. With a huge range of fit adjustability and a casual, upright seated position, it is also quite comfortable. To top it all off, this bike is loaded with user-friendly features like fenders, lights, and a USB port where you can charge your phone on the go using energy from the bike's battery.
The fact that this bike has the potential to replace your car is enticing, but at times it also kind of feels like&hellip; a car. It is one of the heaviest and longest e-bikes we have tried and is definitely not something will want to carry up and down stairs or load into a vehicle, plus it takes up quite a bit of storage space. It is more of a garage-to-street kind of bike. The extra-long wheelbase feels super stable, but it makes for a bit clunkier handling and wider turns overall. Putting the bike together is not too complicated, but it is more involved than some other models, and you may find it helpful to have how-to videos pulled up on your phone before assembly. If all of this seems manageable, and the hauling capacity is something you would use regularly, then the Rad Power RadWagon 4 is an excellent choice.
