The Bogs Workman boots were an easy pick for our top and most coveted award. They're just about perfect, shown both by our metrics &mdash; they were in the top tier for comfort, traction, and warmth &mdash; and by the little details that we love: the heel collars, the modular insoles, and the helpful heel studs so we could kick them off after a long day.
The Workman boots have impressively heavy-duty lugs, a supportive and firm midsole, and are easy to wear for hours. And while we ran into some waterproofing concerns with the first model we tested &#40;over a year ago&#41;, this newest version seems to have solved its predecessor's problems. If we could only have one pair of rain boots, it would easily be these.
