 It's like no this ski is a really well built ski that's designed for this type of skier and that's the same way we're designing skis. So I think it's like a really great partnership. We're we're stoked to be here at Western Summit for that reason.

 So it's a full twin tip ski, camber underfoot, early, early rise in the tip and tail, but very all mountain capable. I’m a 5’8 175 lb woman, confident intermediate/cautious expert skier. While I can make it down everything, I mostly stick to groomers in Colorado. My Line Soulmates 86 gave me 4 great seasons. Looking for something wider underfoot either the 95s or 104s for a one ski quiver. Are the 104s too much? These two are at the top of my list. I don’t know anything about Icelantic or if I should just stick to my trusty Lines? Or if there’s an advantage to the Icelantics besides being beautiful? Thanks!

4FRNT MSP - 2018 POWDER Buyer's Guide

I think you'd be happy on the Woodsman 102 or J Skis Hotshot. You could also consider the 4FRNT MSP 99 or 107 which sounds perfect for what you want to do, or the K2 Mindbender 99 Ti.

Looking for a new ski.  Coming off the old on3p Kartel 106 which I loved but looking for something a bit more directional.  I am 6’2, 190, ski at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky.  I can be found hiking the ridge, skiing chutes, groomer runs with the family, trees, bump, basically everything but the park.  I love doing little side hits but mostly keep my feet on the ground, no butters/spins.  I have a separate set of center mountain twin tips (k2 poacher) and a set of powder skis.  I’m looking for an all mountain ski that will be fun everywhere but it needs to be stable at high speeds ramming through crud and easy to initiate turns for bumps and tight spots.  I know I could choose a better ski for any particular situation so this is your typical un-answerable “best of all worlds” question. Whatever I choose, I’ll mount pivot 15s. 

Short list includes Fischer ranger 102 (the new one with 50% metal), Moment Wild Cat 101, and ON3P Woodsman 102.  

Any thoughts between those or what else I should be considering?

All mountain directional ski for northern Rockies

So I’m looking to buy my second set of skis and pass my old ones (Volkl Revolt 95s) on to my wife.

I’m 5’8”, 190 lbs. and an intermediate-advanced skier. I love every part of the mountain: bowls, powder, trees, park, moguls, groomers. 

I know I want twin tips and at least 100 width and 170 length. But I can’t decide on the incremental difference between 102 through 110 width and 171 to 178 length. I’m afraid to get too wide or too long of a ski and feel like I have 100 lb. bricks for feet Or not go wide/long enough and sink in powder or be unstable at high speeds (like my current setup).

I’m eyeing the ON3P Jeffery 102s or 110s and Line Blend/Sir Francis Bacon, but open to anything. 

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated!!

Please Help an Over-Thinker Buy Skis!

I've been skiing the 4frnt MSP 99 for 3 years now, handles everything I've thrown at them.  Absolutely crush groomers and floaty enough in the softer stuff.

I have some faction dictator 3s that I love, just need something that will be comparable in stability to the dictators and better turning/trees/off piste. For Colorado resorts.

Which skis should I get that have (1) stability at speed (groomer and chop); (2) off piste ability

I could use some help choosing a pair of skis.  I am a 5'10 male weighing 170.  I've been skiing backcountry only for the last few years and want to get a set up for inbounds.  I have a pair of 115 underfoot x 186 length powder skis that will be getting inbounds bindings mounted so whichever ski I go with would be my "all mountain" ski used for moguls, steep inbounds chute hiking, and playing around on little jumps and drops on the side of trails.  My understanding is the K2s will charge a bit better through crud while the Bent Chetlers will be more playful and easier to turn and take into the air.  Since I have some powder skis to compliment them I'm leaning toward the Bent Chetler but I'd love to hear some other opinions and am open to other ski suggestions.  FYI I was considering the Mindbenders in length 179 and the Bent Chetlers in 180.

Girlfriend needs new skis, what are your recommendations?

I ended up buying a pair of 4FRNT MSP CCs and they were magic to learn on. I progressed so much.

Taught girlfriend how to ski last year against everyone’s advice. She got about 10 days on the snow. Looking to gift her a pair of her own skis this year. What would be appropriate for her skill level?

I was on 4FRNT MSP CCs (99 underfoot) for the last couple seasons. I absolutely love it. They hold a great edge on piste and can handle softer snow and anything I find off piste.
