Acebeam L19 | SUPER LONG THROW TIR LENS

Extreme Thrower. Gets really Hot after 4 minutes on Turbo.

 But the question remains: if you're in the market, for a green beam, should you go with the acv ml19 or maybe a green emitter in a larger k1, and that was the debate i was making. So my feelings are: would the beam be a little more intense and go a little further in the k1, and the answer is yes, it would. But what would you be giving up and i feel like you'd - be giving up some ergonomics. I, like the feel of this light better

 This is just a great light this this l19. I mean this light is a fraction of the size that l7 is, and yet it's out throwing it. Let'S take a look at the difference in beam profile between the l19 greens tier this total internal reflection, optic and, let's say the k1, with its standard reflector, so at low ramp. Here there we go this tier

 My hand, so that's how the sizes stack up all right. Let'S focus on the l19s ergonomics. I find it a very comfortable light to hold it's lightweight, and the overall size and dimensions feel really great in my hand, i find this much more comfortable to hold than the k1, even though they're, similarly sized there's just something nicer about this one, and these are Both 21 700 lights. Another interesting thing about the ergonomics of this is that there is two buttons one here and one here and we'll get into the ui later, but this one is a e-switch and it's got a very distinct firm feel it's um metal and it has a small travel And the one on the back is a rubber boot with a mechanical clicky in it, and i find that you can feel the switch which i prefer i like when this boot is supple enough, that you can actually feel where the button is because then i find My finger finds the button easier, also notice that on the tail here, it's got a tricranulation, meaning that you're able to find kind of that nook to where your finger wants to fit easier

**Battery Type &amp; Quantity**:  Battery type and quantity are not an issue so long as they are not proprietary battery packs. Also I would prefer non 18650 unless the light uses multiple, just in an attempt to improve run time. The ability to charge batteries in light is not important to me and if the plug for such a device is a simple rubber flap that could wear out or tear that's a negative for me.

**Size**:  Prefer something larger as heat dissipation/extended high output times are important to me, though not a brick with active cooling.

**Type**:  Handheld  

**Main Use**:  As stated above, light will be used for illuminating large open areas outdoors or wooded areas for nav and possibly emergencies. It will be transported in a vehicle most of the time until packed in a bag.

What I have seen leads me to settle on the Noctigon K1 as I want something larger with high output and throw. I also have no desire to have a light that has aux lights that will remain illuminated when not in use, and simply turning them off seems to me like wasted space/potential. If anyone has other recommendations that meet these criteria that may be a better fit I am very open to suggestions. My primary question is whether the W2.2 or XHP70.3HI 6500k are best for me. I appreciate the throw of the W2.2 but am interested to know if the XHP would offer just a bit more floodiness and how its throw would compare. I like what I have read about the XHP70.3 CRI. If recommending a different light I should say that I am not super crazy about Anduril UI. From what I have seen, that may be blasphemous to say in this subreddit, but I much prefer the K.I.S.S. approach. The ability to hand this light to someone else in my party that is not an enthusiast and not have it handed back to me and make me think "what the hell did they do to these settings?" is a huge bonus. I am willing to overlook this for the K1 as its output is just so impressive.

Looking for feedback/recommendations for K1 LED

Love it. Very bright

 This flashlight is just an immensely powerful tool, and yet it's not cumbersome like those big old mag lights, used to be, as you can see, not even an issue shining across the lake. You can pick up very tiny details. I could see the walking path that went around the lake even through the woods so to test the real range of this flashlight. I went down to the end of the lake and shone it down the length of the lake, and even here you can see i'm touching the other end, it's not as clear, but keep in mind

 First of all, like i mentioned earlier, i have an issue with this style of of sheath of sheath holster. I mean because um when i, when i go to close it and say this is on my belt, i i'll open it and then i'll go to pull it out and watch what happens at the base. You see that it's not going to come out fast. The way i need it to this fetches up due to that ring there, so it's a positive that rings great when it's in your hand, but getting it out of the of the sheath, is a problem so um

 So the usability and the practicality of this flashlight is is actually quite good. The other thing is some people say: well, it's a tight beam. How usable is it well when you're in uh, when you only need a little bit of light? This is not too much uh to to read a map or something like that um. It is a tight beam, but once you're out about 30 feet, it's actually very usable, it's not the type of light
