I would have easily given this 4 stars due to the quality of the picture. Though I'm sure it's not quite as good as those super-high end monitors that graphics artists use, or those new 4k resolution ones for gaming, if you're happy with 1920x1080 @ 27" this monitor has an excellent picture.  Why I didn't give it 4 stars is due to its frustratingly slow screen switching. Switching inputs from one HDMI to another takes several seconds

Also, when you shut down your computer, you can't even turn the screen off until it cycles through all its inputs (which is equally slow) and finally decides there's not a valid signal. (Leaving the screen in stand-by is not the end of the world, but I like turning my stuff off

 Overall if you are looking for a great design 4 year old monitor then this is the one LOL :-).

LOVED the design and look of this monitor. I love interior design and wanted a monitor that was stylish for my office. This was the only monitor I could find that had any element of design and was white. When I unpacked it I noticed the sticker that said "manufactured in June of 2017"

OLD!  You are buying a monitor manufactured in June of 2017!

USB-C single cord solution!

 I sent it off for an Acer warranty repair, but something happened with the shipping labels and it ended up back at Amazon's warehouse and I got sent a new one as a replacement after a quick email to customer service, which was very kind of them. Who knows how long warranty repair would have taken or what kind of runaround I would have gotten from Acer, so I'm also thankful I got this through Amazon rather than somewhere else.

Works well with the 12" MacBook Retina, though not perfect
