I bought an [Acer Predator XB321HK 4K 32” IPS back in 2016 and with the 3080 out I'm thinking of upgrading, but not sure there's much to upgrade to? I'm fine with 60 Hz, I don't need to go up to 144 Hz, but wouldn't mind either obviously. I spend 95% of the time coding/generic websites so OLED is out I think. I feel like HDR would be nice, but not essential.

(Acer XB321HK) I'm strange though, because my iPad Pro is 120Hz and 60Hz iPads feel horrible to me now. I'm not sure why I felt different about PC use. If you only boot your PC to play fast moving games and want to go for 1440p144 then get an Intel CPU, some decent RAM and the best GPU you can afford. Without those things, you won't get most of the advantage of a high refresh monitor.

My couch is about 2.5 metres from the screen and I don't feel I'm benefitting from the 4K resolution at this distance and size of screen. Add to that, the XB321HK has a max refresh rate of 60 and no HDR.
