Acer Predator Z35P

Before i buy a 3440x1440 screen i thought it was the best resolution for gaming. But after few years with an Acer Z35P ultrawide i think the best PC screen for gaming (fps, rpg, h&s), office etc is 16:9. That's why i ordered and i waiting for the new LG C2 42".

My previous monitor was the Z35P and I appreciate the extra three inches and vertical space the AW gives. Colors are excellent but did have to be adjusted out of the box, I used a Spyder5 and DisplayCal to get the red, blue and green set correctly for a 6500k white point.

Then, they have their own chassis and branding built and OSDs designed. In my experience, Acer has better QC. I got monitors using the same panels from both companies and the ASUS panel had worse bleed and the sockets were not lined up well in the chassis. The Acer Predator was fantastic and color calibration was perfect out of the box.

I have the x34, before the P, and it's been a great monitor for the 4 years now that I've had it. If I was buying now, I'd probably go with the z35p. I need real g-sync and VA contrast is nice.

Battery life | 3.5 Hrs. Pros | One of the best bang for the money in the market.

Everything else pretty much checks out and you'll have room to upgrade. I'm a fan of aio over air.
