Adam T5V

I have a small room and quite an awkward L-shaped desk which is by a window sill, so I had to find a relatively small speaker with good enough output at low volumes. I landed on the Adam T5V after finding out that my original pick the Emotiva B1+ don't ship to the EU (no retailers in my country). I liked the reviews of the Adam T5V since they seem to have enough bass for a small room, decent at low volumes and their footprint isn't as big as other competitors.

For nearfield critical listening like gaming at a desktop, monitors cannot be beat- their resolution, accuracy and imaging are just straight up better than comparatively priced consumer gear. If that wasn't the case, people wouldn't work with them. I'd look at Kali LP-6 and Adam T5V in that price range.

I dont think the you cant live without the woofer. Pretty satisfied. I dont really need to change them for a different pair. But I am looking at the ADAM T5v and I will probably pull the trigger LOL since they have that excitment I am looking for.

Don't trust random people on the internet writing reviews and idiotic top 10 lists (they make money based on sales, links and clicks). Audio is science. The speaker you're describing is yet to be engineered but I think this comes close: Adam T5V (200$).

I use a small mixer to connect the speakers to a turntable, bluetooth receiver, streamer, computer, and x-box. Studio monitors strive to offer a ton of clairity and a full frequency response that stays consistent across all volume levels.
