AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker

I went with the AeroPress because it seemed like basically French Press 2.0, and I am very happy with my decision. I find it easier than auto-drip (faster, no fiddling with settings or reservoirs or whatever) and much more versatile - espresso, americano, and even cold brew, though I haven't figured out that last one even though I followed the included instructions to the letter (it is far too weak).

Well, the NZ was okay but certainly didn’t call for the earth to stop rotating but the coffee from the DF64 - prepared in the same AeroPress with the same recipe - was absolutely earthshaking. How can this be? I don’t know but that little pinheaded robot can make good coffee, even if doesn’t get to sit at the cool kids’ lunch table.

* Conclusion: Aeropress is about the best beginner method, so easy to make really good coffee even if so-so equipment, but gives a beginner some room to grow and learn. But do move on to pourovers! (or whatever else you love, espresso, FP, etc etc).

I gotta say though, this AeroPress is pretty damn awesome. She's not the only one loving the coffee. I've made three pretty tasty batches so far.
