The Alcédo Blood Pressure Monitor performed well in our accuracy tests and is one of two monitors we tested that has a talking function. The voice helps guide you through the process, which is a bonus for its user interface. In the end, it can be affirming to have your results read to you. It also lets you know if your reading is normal or elevated based on World Health Organization standards, giving some context to your readings. A self-checking cuff makes sure you've velcroed it in the right place, and movement detection reminds you to keep still. The cuff clearly marks the point to align with your artery and is curved to accommodate your arm. This monitor is user-friendly and has a good amount of memory.  
Unfortunately, unless you mute the handy voice, the unit also plays awful elevator music while inflating. It's also limited to 120 readings, and there is no app to download them to for safekeeping, leading you to have to find another way to keep track of personal data. Another downside is that switching between users is not intuitive. We prefer the models that have a dedicated button for that purpose. This unit is very affordable and works well, making it an excellent option for the visually impaired who need the voice function — as long as they don't mind the cringeworthy soundtrack!

The one drawback is that the 4 AAA batteries do not last very long in the unit given that it is fairly sophisticated and plays music and talks. It is best to plug it in using USB!

 Because I couldn’t ignore my high diastolic pressure, I was ale to be treated and have no Detectable damage to My heart whatsoever. If you are considering buying a blood pressure monitor, please do so. It is worth the money. If you don’t buy this one, buy another that is easy to use

 I had a brief wave of increased achiness that I thought was strange, but it went away quickly. Since I had recently purchased the Blood Pressure Monitor I decided to use it. To my surprise it showed a diastolic pressure of 118, which is very high. I thought about ignoring the whole thing since the pain was gone but could not ignore the hard fact of that measurement

I have wanted a blood pressure cuff since the Covid shutdown because our doctor appointments are via telehealth. The nurse recommended having a blood pressure cuff, and I liked that this one requires no special knowledge or skill.  It was extremely easy to set up. I got this little machine because I no longer trusted my old CVS blood pressure monitor since its readings were swinging wildly in the same sitting. I bought another brand at the same time, Puruzuit, at similar price, and both Alcedo and Puruzuit were made in China. Their readings are similar, don't swing much, and I like the Alcedo. It is easy to set up, with clear cuff placement marks on the cuff and the choice of being talked through the process or not, loud or soft

I have been tracking my blood pressure everyday and this seems to give consistent results. I was getting higher results than my doctors office, but I discovered I was using this monitor incorrectly. Make sure you align the artery mark to the inside of your arm for better results. Also, I had originally sat in a chair and let my arm rest on my lap

His job can cause a change in bp due to weather

  Pros: -Thorough manual which initially describing how the age old systolic/diastolic pressure measuring systems work and what ranges to look compare - fits in a compact roughly 5 x 5 x 3 casing for easy portability -Has unique sounds when conducting meaurements and an interesting melody when doing so!  Cons: The only critique I'd have would be to better explain to (non medical professionals) how to properly orient that arm band. It can be somewhat confusing conparing the text vs. the pics in the manual.  This is an overall excellent advice that frankly exceeded my expectations despite this company being more "underground"
