Alden 06601 Color 8 Shell Cordovan Tassel Loafer

I’m a big fan of Alden boots, but don’t currently seek out to purchase any of their shoes. This V-Tip pattern was only available in shoes until recently*-ish* so when I saw them start popping up, it was just a matter of deciding between leather options. Brogue California ran these in both color 8 and black shell, decided to go with color 8 since I wasn’t IN LOVE with the loud brass eyelets on black shell.

Unfortunately they are just a bit too narrow i the toe box for me and I have never worn them more than just a few minutes to try on inside. Really nice pair and I'll probably seek out a trubalance last color 8 indy to replace these. They do have some desk diving scuffs on the heels of both boots which are not deep and could likely be remedied with some light conditioning and some brushing but I was so bummed about the sizing I haven't tried.
