Hi! I really love playing the drums and I’d like to also practice at home. But I’m a student living in a city apartment, so I am kinda broke rn and want a quieter, smaller and cheaper alternative to an acoustic drum set.

So my question is, do you have any suggestions for a good budget e-drum set? I’ve seen a few videos about budget sets, but they don’t show if the drums are nice to play in a longer term (,the videos were often sponsored as well).
If you have any experiences, I would be glad to hear about them.

. this is a damn good set and it is lasting just fine. I absolutely recommend this drum kit. You won't be disappointed

 Because cheap plastic. Whatever, I knew it was cheap when I saw the price. It took multiple emails and 5 days to get a response from Alesis.  -2 stars) Apparently no warranty

 And when I lifted my stool, I'm not a tall person, I'm only five foot 10, really. I kind of have longer legs than my upper body. So I have my stool a little bit higher than maybe most people, maybe an inch or two higher. I found that no matter how I configured the Alesis kit, I had to raise my stool up a little bit so I could get over top of that rim shot

 The old Yamaha DTX had some really great sounding kits too. So were they different? Yeah, they're different. They're a little bit newer sounds, probably a little more modern, I guess you could say some of the kits they put in it. The Alesis Nitro Mesh kit, again, my big issues, the size of the kit, it was super flimsy as well
