 That can't be it, right? The new Echo Show 8 had a new processor and its camera followed you around the room. I mean, not particularly well, but that was something, right? Nope, That is it. Oh, and if you're buying it for a full price, which you shouldn't do because these things sell for crazy discounts all the time. But if you are buying it at full price, then it's five dollars cheaper than the show Five originally was at 85 rather than 90

As I mentioned in the title, I can be in my kitchen, within 1 foot away from my echo show 10, ask it to open my netflix account, and my echo show 5, two rooms away (or about 20-25 feet away) will pick up my voice instead and play it in my bed room.

The only way I can get my echo show 10 to play music, netflix, tell time, set alarm etc etc, is if I whisper to it...

Is there a way to increase/decrease voice sensitivity on either device? (Either raise the sensitivity on my echo show 10, or LOWER it on my echo show 5?)

My echo show 5 registers my voice even though its 2 rooms apart, and 20+ feet away... Can I adjust the voice sensitivity?

I have 7 echo devices, and they all do exactly what I want, except my Echo Show. It's garbage. It's slow as hell. It can't understand me half the time. It's connection cuts out constantly. It freezes up for no reason. It's volume is all over the freaking place. And it constantly advertises crap to me that I don't want, where none of my non-video ones ever do anything like that. 

It seriously passes me the hell off. Are they all shite or is it like a version thing? I want to pitch this one through a window.

are all Echo Shows garbage or is it just mine?

Not bad, but a few annoyances, especially "Alexa for Your Day"

 You do have a power port right here. very nice fabric backing on this, a very nice rubber base to help it not slide around on your countertops or on your nightstand which is really nice. so the plastic ones you slightly bump them and you don't want something this expensive falling off your countertop because you bumped it and it slid. Oop, there we go

 Now are there better speakers on the market? Yes. In this price point though, I think that's the biggest question. I think for the price you're paying, this is a very good full range of sound. For the price, it's always tough to say

 Now the Echo Show 5 is a pretty standard one. I'm going to quickly go over the hardware on this and I'll show you plugged in in my bedroom There you can see all set up. You do have a power port right here. very nice fabric backing on this, a very nice rubber base to help it not slide around on your countertops or on your nightstand which is really nice
