I have a Vega 56 and normally I can play with graphics setting maxed, and at worse the FPS drops to 60-75 in a really intense battle. But lately it’s been dropping to a full on lag of 1 or 2 second with graphics all the way down.

e Vega 56 should be able to handle current VR games easily, as well as those of the near future. In the end, we're left feeling much the same way about the Radeon RX Vega 56 as we did about the higher-end Vega 64.

Keep your fucking money in it. . This little vega 56 just needs to stay alive another year or two until things settle. If it dies, I'll buy an Xbox before I spend more than $500 for what is basically a sidegrade 4 fucking years later.

my vega 56 undervolt config for linux

I made the switch to Linux last weekend, and I do own a Vega 56. All I did so far was play Rimworld (which runs fine), and once I am done with the run, my plan is to to do some benchmarking, and dig into getting other games to run. I did some undervolting on Windows, so this comes in really handy. Thanks!.

SI DON'T Upgrade To Windows 11! Upgrade To Linux Instead

I have a ryzen 3600x and Vega 56 graphics card, I can’t take advantage of directstorage anyway and autohdr just doesn’t interest me at all. I literally have no reason to upgrade to windows 11 until windows 10 support is just dropped and I have an m1 Mac mini for content creation and audio editing. I also have an Xbox series s, so I mean, windows 11 is so far removed from my needs that I really don’t see myself using it in any fashion.
