 This is kind of the enterprise version of that chip, but we've got the same exact specs here and I'm really interested to see how this performs because we will be seeing some handheld gaming PCs powered by the 6600U, and those will be coming in a bit cheaper than the 6800U handhelds that we're going to be seeing by the end of the year. But with this here, we're going to get a nice baseline of the performance that the 6600U can put out. Now before we get started here, this video is brought to you by URCD Keys. I've actually been using this site for a couple years now

 But with these new RDNA graphics, it does way better. Unfortunately we just can't hit 60, but we did get an average of 51 FPS. And the final thing I wanted to show off was a little more Forza Horizon 5 gameplay. So I'm maxing this little APU out, we're close to 45 watts here, I've got it on a laptop cooler

 Next up we've got Fortnite 1080p medium settings, and I'm actually using the DirectX 11 backend. Usually on these APUs I go with their experimental backend, which I'm guessing is Vulkan, but DirectX 11 does perform really well. We got an average of 72 FPS. Halo Infinite 720p low, I got an average of 52 FPS

 So I'm going to change product key. I'm going to paste it in here, choose next, choose activate, and Windows is now activated. We're ready to go. My warning is totally gone and basically that's it

The New Ryzen 6600U Will Blow You Away, A Fast RDNA2 iGPU! Hands on First Look

 Hey, what's going on everybody, it's ETA Prime back here again, today we're going to be taking a look at some emulation on the all-new AMD Ryzen 5 6600U APU. I've done one video so far with the 6600U, checking out some PC gaming performance. If you're interested in checking that out, I'll leave a link in the description. But overall, I've been a big fan of this chip, we've got 6 cores, 12 threads, and new RDNA2 integrated graphics, and AMD is calling this new iGPU the 660M

 That's just how it goes. We've got 6 cores and 12 threads, and with the harder to emulate stuff, RPC-S3 can definitely utilize all of that, and plus, with this TDP, we've got that iGPU that also needs power. So getting those clocks up on the GPU and the CPU does take a little extra wattage. But either way you look at it, the 6600U can handle PS3 emulation

 Basically the 6600U is the little brother of the 6800U, and like I mentioned, we will be seeing this in some handhelds in the future, but the only way I could get my hands on one right now was in a laptop. But overall, it's been a great performer, especially with that new RDNA2 iGPU, and that's where this thing really shines. We've got some really good integrated graphics on this unit, and we've got 6 CPU cores based on Zen 3 Plus, so in this video we're going to be taking a look at some higher-end emulation, but before we jump into it, I do want to mention that this video is brought to you by URCD Keys. I've actually been using this site for a couple years now

 I've got one more here to test with this emulator, and that's going to be Bayonetta 2. And again, right there at 15 watts, running at full speed. This is one of those games that does run at 60 FPS. Next up, we've got some PS3 emulation using RPC-S3 with the Vulkan back in, we're at 720p with all of these games, and the easier to emulate stuff is going to be totally possible at these lower wattages, but something like Skate 3, you will have to take it up to around 35 watts to get decent performance out of it
