They want their product engineers to analyze, which is understandable and respectable. But after showing the cord and verifying the serial number on the cord, I would think it would be enough to send me a replacement immediately. It’s also a USPS return which has its own challenges

Lasted only a year before it split just like OEM Apple cables. Started having charging issues after 9 months. Might as well buy Apple next time.

The Anker Powerline II cable is indeed quite a durable cable however there are a few problems with it along with reasons why I still think you should get some. Like most cables bending around the neck area of where the ports are, Anker's cables like most cables are not entirely immune to this type of damage however they are still much stronger than most competitors and much better than Apple's own official ones. Another problem with the Powerline II series it that the lightning connector can rust on the metal contacts, however I also must admit that I clean my iPhone XS occasionally with soap and water so its fair to say that the phone dock can have some left over moisture that rusts the cable ports. The last complain I have is if you decide to purchase in White, the cable may start turning yellow, I'm not sure if it has to do with how I store them but this is mostly just a cosmetic problem that doesn't affect the actual durability of the product but if this bothers you you should probably just get it in a different color

 Customer Service for Anker in my experience is pretty high tier, I had two cables fail on me due to repeated twisting on the lightning side and thus got "The bends" and eventually stopped charging, Anker support asked me to provide a few details through e-mail about what the problem was and sent me my two replacements, this all happened within a week and I was quite happy with the results. All in all, I highly recommend this product for anyone thinking of buying a set of cables for themselves.

A stronger cable than most competitors with a fair price and customer service

  The cord is also the strongest cord I've had so far and does not bend easily which will ensure a longer life for my cord. Great product!

I purchased the 6’ PowerLine II Lightning Cable on June 1, 2017. Last week I had to contact CS, due to the cables failing to charge intermittently for the past 2 weeks. After providing Anker CS with the info requested, I received a brand new cable within 2 days! I have purchased quite a few personal audio products from Anker and they have ALWAYS been built better and worked better than any other manufacturers products. This very sturdy lightning cable went thru a lot, as I am permanently disabled and use my cables, iPads, headphones, etc

.. more than the average user. I am actually surprised this new (when I first purchased it) heavy duty model from Anker lasted as long as it did! I got tired of buying Apple OEM cables, as they are extremely OVERPRICED and besides working without the hassle of the iPad “not recognizing” or “not supported” error msgs (another diabolical ploy by Apple to gouge you by buying OEM Apple accessories) they wore out more quickly than most cables! All other “Apple Certified” lightning cables I had purchased on Amazon Prime were not much better and sometimes just as fragile as the OEM Apple cables! I got really tired of buying new charging cables (actually 2 so I’d have a spare) every 3 months, so I tried this new Anker PowerLine II and was totally impressed! It lasted over 3X as long as any other cable I had tried! Plus, with the lifetime guarantee I am ALWAYS assured of NEVER having to buy another Apple cable again

 While it worked I had yanked and pulled it out of my iPad accidentally and it always worked well when reinserting it! I NEVER had the ridiculously devious “accessory not compatible with device” error, that Apple loves to instigate by putting a proprietary microcircuit in all “certified” and/or OEM lightning cables! Apple, you already fleece your users enough, why must you continue to do so at every turn? Makes me want to switch to Android devices and it might not be long before I do! In conclusion, I have used Anker Customer Service 3 times in my 10yr history of using their products and can honestly tell you that it is STELLAR! A cut above most others! This is something that has helped build their Brand, I am sure! If looking for 1 lightning cable to serve you well and last a lifetime, this is the ONE!
