My iPhone 6S is coming up to 3 years now and eligible for an upgrade. It looks like Rogers has a special offer right now for a Google Pixel 4 at 20CAD/month for 24 months (480 CAD total). With my iPhone reaching old age and having battery issues among other crashing issues, I’m thinking about switching.

fast processors on phones mean that even after many years the phone gets software support, and is still usable. i'm typing this from my iphone 6s, which is from 2015... and its still perfectly usable today.. because it had quite a powerful cpu for its time... so it can handle newer software (ios 14) with no problem.

If you are planning to buy older model best choice is Apple iphone because it support software updates long period and durability is very good. I use Apple iphone 6s and it is 6 years old and still works fine. If your country has Apple store you can buy Iphone 8 or iphone se for very good price. If you want even more cheaper try on Amazon.

My kids have iPhone 6s phines, why? Cheap, works, doesn't cause problems. I switched, why, because I was tired of trying to get the new version of Android and loading custom OSs only to find out everything crashes. None of this is a problem with iOS.

My iPhone 6s was in use just the other week before I got my mini and works as good as my oneplus 8 pro ever did. That’s a 2015 phone that has only required a new battery which cost me $70 for an OEM. I’ve yet to break an iPhone screen or used a screen protector and have only had minor scratches (on iPhones).

Had an IPhone 6S for about 10 months, hated that it’s battery degraded so fast. I had to replace the battery once during the time I had it.

My iPhone 6S that my mom gave me is still receiving updates. Phone came out in 2015 and it’s still running super smooth.
