Although it isn't the highest-performing keyboard we've tested, it's a well-built model that stylistically fits with other Mac products to create a cohesive look on your desk.

This keyboard is the follow-up to the very popular Apple Magic Keyboard 2017 and keeps a similar style but adds a new Touch ID feature. The Touch ID works with any M1 Mac computer to allow you to use your fingerprint in place of a password, which is handy if you tend to forget your log-ins. However, it's important to note that this feature doesn't work with M1 iPads. 

Unfortunately, this keyboard doesn't support multi-device pairing, so you can only connect it to one device at a time. However, you can use a Lightning cable to manually swap between devices by plugging it into whatever computer or device you want to use at the time.
