This version of Apple's keyboard lays almost totally flat with very minimal tilt toward the user. Previous Apple models all have a noticeable upward tilt, which makes them more ergonomic & easier to use. I'm not a fan of this flat version & will be returning. Love the black keys though!

My bad, I didn't think to check that this keyboard was compatible with my (Intel) MacBook pro. So all the extra cost (and no backlighting, really?) for the TouchID isn't needed. Will be returning and probably getting a much nicer, and much cheaper, Logitech.

This keyboard is nice but it’s not worth the money. It should be able to work with more than one wireless and Bluetooth item but it doesn’t. It also does not have back lit keys. It is sleek and nice but not worth the money for what it lacks.

Like the previous Magic Keyboards I have used, this one is easy to type on and relatively quiet, though not silent. If you like the short-stroke keyboards Apple makes, you'll like this one. However, battery life is not very good: you'll find yourself having to plug it in to your Mac every few weeks....
