 With a lot of the, almost all the Arbor boards have the GripTech and that's a technology that is along the edge of the board where the edge extends out a little bit further than the radius of the side cut and what this does is allows you to have more pressure underneath your toe and your heel or your feet to get better grip in the snow in your turn. So when the snow is not that great or hard or snow conditions, even in a rocker board you can really get a really nice turn and really good edge hold. I rode this board in a 153 and it didn't really feel like a rocker board to me, especially here in the east in Vermont, we had kind of variable snow conditions, today I was testing the board and I was really surprised at how well it turned and held an edge and a lot of that has to do with the GripTech. Recycled edges, this board has Biax glass meaning that the weave of the glass goes zero and ninety so it's fairly soft in torsion, allowing you to twist and manipulate the board in the turn, changing the radius of the turn, it also allows it to be very playful in kind of foot steering and foot control compared to some of the other boards that have the mixed glass which is a little bit more tech and drives the board a little bit more

 A lot of the Arbor boards come in both camber and rocker versions, I happen to have the formula with the rocker here and you can see on the flat table that the board doesn't really touch the table anywhere except for in the middle and you can see how it kind of goes back and forth from either side if you can see that in the video. I'm going to talk about these boards, who they're for and what type of snow. Hello fellow snowboarders!

Midwesterner here that fell in love with the sport. All last season I rented but want to officially buy. I will mostly ride in the Midwest with some (10% of the time) riding in the west. I am a beginner to intermediate snowboarder. Ive mostly stayed away from the park and will likely stay away for the time being. Of the below boards, which would be the best pick for my skill level / price. As a note, all the boards listed could be had for around $300 which is my budget. 

1. 2022 bataleon Goliath
2. 2018 NS Funslinger ($200)
3. 2022 burton process Flying V
4. 2022 burton skeleton key
5. 2022 Nitro Team gullwing
6. 2022 Salomon huck knife

Ultimately I want a one quiver board since there is limited riding in the Midwest. I don’t plan to be super hardcore but love using it as an a too the in the winter.

I really want to know what majority of people are using nowadays!  

Not comparing which is better, I'd just like to see the popularity 

I personally am a Capita die hard, won't use anything else.  Got a 152 Asymulator and a 157 Mercury I wouldn't trade for the world, but I do have a soft spot for Lib Tech &amp; Burton.  Ride's slime wall technology is superior too.  There's just so much to choose from.

 I was having trouble switching from toe side to heel side, changing my back binding angle to 0 seemed to help with this a lot. But lately I’ve been having trouble going from heel back to toe.

I just recently got into snowboarding and bought my own setup, an Arbor Formula rocker with Union bindings. Per some advice from people I know I started out -12/12 degrees back/front (I ride goofy if that matters at all).
