The Arbor Westmark Rocker Snowboard is Arbor's freestyle board, and it's ideal for people that want to do tricks on a wooden plank throughout the park. This board is also good for intermediates who want an all-mountain board but want to spend more time in the park. The Westmark also comes in a camber shape, but this rocker board will be better for easy turning and quick maneuvers.
Key Features:
- Blunted Tips – The blunted tips of the board reduce swing weight, so the board is slightly easier to turn while still providing enough area for floating in snow. Additionally, the blunted tips make butters and other ground tricks much easier.
- Grip Tech – Many park runs are partially covered in ice later in the day. The Westmark has four extra contact points on the edge of the board. These cut into the snow and ice like a serrated knife, which helps riders hold an edge more easily.
- Full Twin – This board is a true twin, so riding switch will feel the same as riding regular.
- Sintered Base – The sintered base helps the bottom slide freely over the snow, making this board faster.
- Environmentally-Friendly – Arbor has been dedicated to protecting forests ever since it started making boards in the 90s.  Its main focus has been the reforestation of Hawaiian Koa forests, which were important to native Hawaiians for many reasons, including as a source of wood for surf boards, and which were destroyed by plantations. Arbor has planted 350,000 Koa trees and reforested 800 acres of woodlands with native plants since 1995. For each board they make, they plant more than one Koa tree.

Arbor Westmark Snowboard Review

I’m looking to get a second board after riding on a beginners board for 5 years (firefly furious 15/16). I can confidently say I am not a beginner anymore, and I’ve push my board to it limits (black diamond tree runs in Vermont namely). I’ll be spending most of my just carving and hitting side jumps but I’ll also spend a fair amount of time in trees and at the park (though I just started doing park runs this year), not really a rail or a box person (honestly never tried). 

I currently have my eye on Arbors; Element Camber and westmark camber or rocker. Are either of these a good choice

2021 Arbor Westmark Rocker Snowboard Review | Curated

Been skiing my whole life , gave snowboarding a shot this past winter and loved it. Just copped my first plank! Arbor Westmark Camber 159 with Salomon Alibi bindings. Stoked for this season!

 So who's this board for? Well it's for someone that doesn't want traditional camber but still likes having snap and response from their board. It's for someone that likes to ride the whole mountain as a skate park. Someone that's out there really doing their thing. Oliant slow signs, cat track gaps, side hits and still going through the park

 And the Westmark just handled it like an all-mountain freestyle board. So it's really like, what would I call this? I call this a freestyle board. But I would say it's a freestyle board that could double as an all-mountain rider, because it's got a pretty stiff flex, and it's not very chattery. It's not chattery

As the title says I'm in the market for a true twin snowboard which is playful for side hits, small/med jumps but which is not a brick in powder and can grip for a carve.

Don't want to go past 154 and I weigh about 85KGs.

2014 Artefact 153 (dud for indoor only)
