 Opening: first 2 minutes smells strong and really bad. Not pleasant at all. After 3 minutes smells like aventus. After 15 minutes it’s almost gone This low projection and poor smell will last for 3 hours and then it will disappear

 It’s bad quality for my taste….  BUT AFTER COUPLE DAYS, the smell changed. Started to smell really really similar to aventus.  Also, projection and duration came better

Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man is a good alternative to Aventus for a fraction of the price at $40 on Amazon. Armaf clones popular Creed fragrances and they get pretty close to the real thing if you don’t mind wearing a “clone”.

 But Aventus has all the scents balanced and is more clean and crisp. So, that does it for me. Even though I like this, I still couldn’t find an exact clone of Aventus. So I’m going to just get Aventus sometime down the line

 The scent and longetivity is great. But still can’t touch Aventus.  I have a small sample vial of Creed Aventus. After going back and forth between this and Aventus, I can now tell the difference

 Club de Nuit has an overpowering lemon scent to it. Both, intense and limited have an overpowering lemon scent that dominates throughout. But Aventus has all the scents balanced and is more clean and crisp. So, that does it for me

Anyways what does everyone think when people on here or specifically reviewers on YouTube claim a fragrance is affordable at the $100-$200 range. I personally think it’s a little odd. Fragrance is often not affordable. Just because some are super expensive, starting at $300 or $500, does not mean a $150 fragrance is affordable in my opinion. It’s still a lot of money that most people can’t be spending constantly. I think overall it is an expensive hobby and people shouldn’t claim that it is affordable. Again this is just my thought process and I’m curious what others think.

Thoughts on using the word “affordable” when describing fragrance

 For me, they both project about the same (I think around a 4ft projection) and will literally last you at minimum of 8 hrs. They both attract compliments from both males and females, but overall, I would say spend the extra money and get the EDP. My wife says it smells just like Adventist and she’s pretty critical of men’s fragrances lol. Hope this helps!

 I’m no fragrance guru, but I do have a lot of top designer brands. The biggest difference for me is the opening. The EDT has a very strong citrus/lemon pledge cleaner smell (my wife told me to return it lol). I only recommend using it 20 mins prior to being around people

Thought it would be a good safe buy. First time I sprayed it, I LOVED the top notes--that lilac really hits you! Then on the dry-down I was so disappointed--it smelled like old lady perfume! Upset at my wasted money, I put the bottle away for a few days. Decided to give it a second chance this morning and I'm so glad I did--I love it! No old lady smell at all! I don't know what was going on with my nose that first day.

Is there a fragrance you hated on the first wear and then LOVED?

 Definitely won't be liked by everyone that has to smell it or fit just anyone, it's a very confident manly smell, very smoky and woody. Definitely a boss/CEO smell.

Club De Nuit Intense is some very strong stuff, I sprayed twice and it was like I overdid it, you get an intense burst of lemon and citrus at first then all the other hints linger after the citrus fades, and I mean LINGER. It lasts so long and it's very strong, I sprayed it behind me and the smell kept coming forward to greet me all day/night. Definitely won't be liked by everyone that has to smell it or fit just anyone, it's a very confident manly smell, very smoky and woody. Definitely a boss/CEO smell

It’s called Armaf - Club de Nuit Intense Man and it’s a 90+% similar fragrance to Aventus, but at a fraction of the cost. I paid £50 for a 150ml bottle off eBay. It’s really good.

So I’m kinda new to this fragrance game but I already have 6 fragrances :) 
I’m 21 years old and I got a job promotion and wanted to buy some gift to simbolize this moment of my life 
I was think of creed aventus because everyone talks about it and I really think it has an amazing history

Creed aventus 2021

4 stars across the board for this one, since it seems to have the longevity along with the scent itself, staying rather strong. Within a couple weeks of wearing it, I have been asked twice if it was Creed, and then numerous compliments from both sides.  All in all, it's a great deal for your money. Can't complain when the actual product is hundreds of dollars and this is less than a Grant for the same effect
