 It's not going to set your pulses, racing is not going to, um, you know, get you out there smashing the life out of your Pbs. But that said, it will do you just fine if you if you are in need of some form of stability. It is definitely an improvement over Nine and I think that's the critical point that I want to try and get. They have, I think tuned it up better

 They've gone for this light truss system um which is some wicked little technology they've put together to create the stability in the shoe. We along with the medial posting two degree this lot harder here on the inside of the shoe versus the outside where you've got the gel so it acts as that sort of uh yeah, like bowling alley. You know when you put them up for the kids, it just holds you and supports you. but you've got the gel to act to aid in terms of the cushioning and support

 But it felt like the sole simply did not cover my entire foot. The toe, for example, seemed to be protruding beyond the sole, pressing itself against the fabric. So I returned them not wanting to risk injury.

 It's just a completely new feel. It's actually the most important update on this shoe for me. The shoe also has gotten a new upper, more knit mesh ish. You still get the soft Essex feeling and the very very good fit

 It's not that this shoe doesn't give you the stability you need, it's just more natural. And I think this is a very, very important update that will be beneficial for almost every runner who needs the stability issue. It's just a completely new feel.  You've got the Keanu, which is the brand's flagship model. It gets all the latest upgrades and the new the best technology the A6 Gt2000, which is a moderate stability trainer. It's also a great shoe for those who are neutral runners. It offers a touch of stability and has a good amount of new technology and upgrades made to it

The Keanu runs about 180 us dollars while the Gt2000 is up 10 from last year at 130 us dollars. There have been a lot of upgrades to the Gt2000 in the last two years with a completely revamped midsole in the 10

 A big change to the upper is that it is now an engineered knit. It's now a knit replacing the older mesh it was meshed up through the 2009 [Music] and I noticed that the the upper is also simplified. There are fewer layers, but I did not notice a decrease in quality so the fewer layers are going to lighten up the shoe a bit. as I noted, but it's still a pretty quality shoe

 Now the big changes to this midsole and outsole you see that there's light truss light truss running along the medial aspect of the Gt 2010. The light truss replaces two aspects of the Gt2000. It replaces the old Duo Max foam which was a thicker foam, two densities that would run along the medial side of the shoe and that would help to combat pressure from any over pro. pronation

 Cutting through the shoe, The older models of Gt-2000 and the 2010, when I put the outsoles next to each other, they line up. The thing that is important to know though is that there's a little bit more length. just slightly more length to the 10.

Asics GT 2000 10 Review - This shoe keeps getting better and better

My stats: 5 foot 6 inch 125 pound athletic male with mild over pronation in left foot and a little more over pronation in right foot. Looking for a stability road shoe that can handle some trails and is capable of dynamic running styles- meaning any thing from fast walk to jog to run and sprinting on a variety of surfaces and conditions.  The shoes are: Good for lighter runners with mild overpronation. Better than the ASICS Men's Gel-Kayano 28 which are too soft and mushy for lighter runners (so sad since other wise they are magical shoes)

  When ran in properly, the GT 2000 10s are a great pleasure to run in and make you excited about your next run.

 ASICS seems to have forgotten who wears this model for running. We are usually not the super quick runners looking for a light weight shoe. Rather, we are looking for a comfortable stability shoe that helps with our over pronation. These shoes do not help

 This one for me was not a good improvement from the prior year(s). I’ve worn this model because of it’s design to be a stability shoe for over pronation. ASICS seems to have forgotten who wears this model for running. We are usually not the super quick runners looking for a light weight shoe

 They actually hurt my feet from the lack of support. For the first time in decades I switched from ASICS to Brooks to try their stability shoe for over pronation. It was the highest rated in this category from my research. And after about five short runs they have been great

The latest GT-2000 shoe, 10, is no longer much of a stabilty shoe—the sole bends in half easily by the heel now. Previous versions, the 8 and 9, only easily bent at the ball of the foot near the front. This provides much more support for the arch and foot. ASICS has removed the medial post from version 10, which provided more stability

 This latest version is far closer to a neutral shoe now with a very flexible sole.  Also, the color isn't black at all but grey. On the upper there are black lines as accents at the base and more of them towards the back. This isn't so clear from the photos
