I just completed my build of a 12700k and a 3080 and I now need to upgrade from my HP Omen 1080p 144hz. Is it really worth an upgrade?

I've been looking and I saw a Gigabyte M27Q for $260 on Amazon. Is it worth the upgrade? Are there any other options for around this price that you'd recommend?

I also do want to get a second monitor in the future, and the way they pair up aesthetically does matter (more than it probably should) for me. Are there any monitors that cosmetically match the gigabyte but aren't as nice/expensive?

They got the thin bezels on the side, they got the HDMI did a nice DisplayPort and all that stuff. So let's go over the monitor and this is gonna be a weird review because I'm not gonna get all nitty-gritty into like how much it weighs the monitor and what's the color mode, specs and all this bullcrap?   My complaint is that using multiple sources is a total fail. You cannot not easily switch inputs and if one of the sources goes to sleep before another, it auto-switches. Again, this would not be a big deal if I could switch back, but they don't make that easy. You have to jump through a few menus to get there and if the input hasn't sent its wake-up signal quick enough the monitor just assumes there is nothing there an switches back to the "wrong" input
