Best 144hz Monitor Under $200

 I would have to return the monitor and forfeit that $30 discount.  At this point I'm just waiting on ASUS to reply to my email and see where I need to go from there. If no appropriate resolution can be found through ASUS, then I'm going to simply return the monitor to Amazon and seeing as I'm going to have to pay the original $160 if I want to buy another I'm just going to shell out the extra $20 and get the AOC 24g2 which has a better warranty and better overall experience.  If you're thinking about buying this, just know that you run the risk of losing the pannel lottery like I did and will be stuck waiting to receive support from ASUS or shipping from Amazon

 I'm assuming 2 business day. Well, it's been almost 4 and I have yet to receive anything. I've tried using their limit chat portal, but I can't seem to reach the correct department. I have sent them an email using their email portal and again have to wait up to 48 hours for them to contact me with a solution

8 inch display. I've been using nothing but 27 inch monitors for several years now and I forgot about the competitive advantage of a smaller monitor. This is also certainly personal preference, but the fact is you don't have to look at as much screen real estate with games like first person shooters especially, you can just see everything that you need to without having to move your head so much and that's a pretty decent competitive advantage. I also definitely need to talk about these viewing angles, now this is an IPS display so we know they're going to be great, but honestly looking at this monitor felt kind of weird but in a good way

 At the maximum refresh rate, the more expensive VG249Q delivers the superior performance with less smearing. The VP249QGR still does good in that regard, but it can't keep up with a sibling that performs among the best IPS monitors. This is probably thanks to its more aggressively tuned overdrive, which is kept at weaker levels with the VP249QGR. So if you're gaming at high refresh rates and are sensitive to ghosting, the VG249Q is probably worth the price premium

Yo all - just like you, I’m always searching for the best of the best monitors with the least amount of issues / caveats and now is the time for me to upgrade and I’d like your assistance!

I have been rolling my Asus PG279Q since it released back in 2016. This monitor has been the closest thing to perfection - great colors, performance, g-sync, 1440p, 144hz - except that recently started flickering on me and 2 dead pixels have been born so I’d like to get something new and possibly keep this one as a second monitor.

I currently have 2 contenders sitting on my desk:

AW2721D:

- Amazing colors
- Top notch motion / performance
- Stylish
- IPS glow / backs are very meh

G7 Odyssey 27:

- Amazing colors
- Great performance 
- Deep blacks
- Bulky
- Can have random issues such as flickering or judder


I am not 100% happy with either of these. Considering the price point I would expect to have 0 issues just like my LG CX in the living room lol.

I guess if I really had to choose it would be the G7 for the immersion in games.

So are these the current best monitors on the market money can buy? Should I try something else you find worthy? I would like to maintain 1440p, 144hz+, 27inch+
