And to wrap up, would I recommend the AT2020 or is the AT2020 still worth it in 2021?

At that budget though I'd recommend a 2nd set-up at your desk too, something like a Behringer UMC22 + Audio Technica AT2020 for the really crisp, clear vocals. Otherwise, maybe a wireless Shure SM58 would be a good option.

In terms of gaming headsets, these seem to be top tier. That being said, I usually suggest people buy a seperate mic (be it a modmic, or something they have on a mic arm, Audio-Technica AT2020 if you have the budget). My logic here is that there are plenty of fantastic headsets, some with removable cables you can get.
