 Token they're gon na put the token in the center of the factory displays, and now they can do one of two things they can either take all matching tiles from one of the factory displays, in which case all the rest of the tiles go to the center Or they can take all matching tiles from the center and if there's a starting player token, they can take that as well. Once they've chosen their tiles, they have to choose one of their pattern lines to place. Those tiles in only tiles of the same type, can be in the same pattern line the ultimate goal being to fill up a pattern line entirely so that later on, one of those tiles can go in the corresponding space on their wall. The other tiles leftover will just go into the later of the box, never to be seen again until another game

 Do it all over again, if you do run out of tiles from the bag, when you're filling up the factory offers at the beginning of a round. Just take the tiles out of the lid of the box and place them back in here to recycle them at the end of wall tiling. If someone's completed a horizontal row, that's going to trigger the end of the game so after the end of scoring, then there's also additional bonus points that are scored. So each person will get two points for each horizontal row

 I contacted the company online a week ago and have received absolutely no response. I sent them another email and received no response. At minimum, I expect a company to respond to communications.

What games will you be playing over the holidays with family this year?

Having played Azul with friends, we decided to buy it because it was so much fun.  We were really disappointed when we received Azul the first time because because the player boards were all ripped along the edges, and all the pieces felt like very cheap plastic, especially compared to when we played the game before with friends.  So we returned and exchanged the game. The new game arrived today and again the player boards are ripped around the edges, the box was crushed a little on the side, and very cheap pieces

 Some of the symbols were printed off-center on the small square pieces. We are not happy to get the same game twice in a row with cheap pieces and poor quality.  I contacted Amazon customer service, and they weren't willing to give us any type of refund on the game, unless I returned again. It's annoying to keep going back and forth to the post office to return items

 They put a single blue there, they put a red there and they put uh. Oh let's say they put another one of these there all right and i'm gon na need some more towels. Let'S grab some tiles here and i'll put some some in the middle there to help me out. Okay and you can have multiple colors in different lines, or you know that that color can show up in multiple lines

 All of these have been taken, then players are going to score some points, and so let's take a look here, i am going to just fake this a little bit for the sake of my example. Let'S do that all right, so this player, oh - and they have some other things down here, because why not say that's that's what they've gotten they took first, okay, so i'm going to score this board just so you see how that works. If the line is completely filled, it's going to score it's going to move over to the actual finished wall and score so you'll take the towel. You'Ll move it over to the matching spot

 They keep this to remind them. They are the first player and we populate this again with four of these tiles per picking area there again. All of these would be gone by now. That'S it that's how the game works, and so you are trying to get a whole lot of points by lining these tiles up here, making sure when you deploy something you're scoring a lot of points for a line or a column and also completing a lot of The same color, so you can try to get that bonus and completing the uh

 So we pick a star player. Let'S say this player right here is going to be first and then they'll take some of these tiles. When you pick you're going to go to a a single spot and you're going to take all of one color, whatever color you pick, but you have to take them all. So this player goes here

What Did You Play This Week? - (October 25, 2021)

Beautiful game, pieces just damage easily

 Azul is certainly a game that will keep you on your toes and that's because your strategy, your optimal choices, are always going to be changing depending on what's on the factories and what your opponents are up to and it's that information that affects what you choose to Do - and this is also, in my opinion, one of the best ways to include luck or randomization in a board game. All of the players have access to the same tiles, but those tiles are randomized, and that means you have to adapt your strategy between games and between play sessions to ensure that you're doing the best thing you can to both score points and play against your opponents. There is a decent amount of player interactivity in this game, even though it might not look like it at first glance, and this is because all of the information here is public. You can see everything that your opponents are doing and everything that they have access to

 That'S picked up very quickly. You can set up the factories, take turns grabbing tiles and then use your completed rows. To add tiles. To your wall and score points, it's simple, it's clear and it's satisfying because you are completing something finishing a row all the time: [, Music ]

 It is, of course, very pretty nice coloured tiles, the box itself, the player boards, the factories and even the tile bag are all very well placed within the theme. The game has an identity and it owns that identity being based in the history of interior design in southern spain and portugal, but the components not only look great, they are effective and they do their jobs. Well, the player board provides all of the information that you need to play down to a reminder of endgame score additions. You can clearly see how everyone else is going to, because all of the necessary information is displayed in a big way
