 Compared to some of Battalion's other profiles, which lend themselves to floating powder or carving on the pieces, the Walle's Jib 3BT profile is built purely with park, street, and flatland riding in mind. It has the widest center base section of all the Battalion profiles, with just a low uplift in the side base sections on either side, and then an extra dose of uplift at the widest part of the nose and tail, which you can see here, and these are known as the sidekicks. This means that you've got the largest surface area in the center of the nose and tail, which gives you a super stable platform to pop or press from, but enough of a bevel on either side to raise the contact points and make hookups a thing of the past. Not surprisingly, the Walle is one of the softest flexing boards in Battalion's line at around a three out of 10 on their rating scale

Bataleon Wallie 2022 Snowboard Review

I want to get into Park riding this years, specifically jibbing. I would consider myself an intermediate-advanced snowboarder that has mostly ridden all mountain snowboards for the past 15 years and can shred the entire mountain with no problem. The only aspect I severely lack is rails/jibs and jumps in the park and I would like to progress in this area this season. I would rate my ability to ride rails and boxes at a 1-2 out of 10 so pretty poor. What would you recommend for someone in my situation, an advanced snowboarder that is a beginner in the park? I am mainly looking for a jib focused board that can hit small to medium sized jumps without bottoming out. Buttering and ground tricks are always fun too, but I don't want it to be too noodley or too stiff. I am 5'10, 185 with a size 11 boot so I think I would need something with at least 255mm width preferably 260mm. I am looking between the 152-156cm range. Please let me know what you recommend for sizing for a beginner in the park.

* Capita Ultrafear
* Saloman Huck Knife
* GNU Headspace
* Bataleon Evil Twin

That being said, I am afraid to get a board that is tailored to the advanced park rider as I think it will be too stiff for me and won't allow me to have a natural progression. If there are other boards I should consider please let me know.

Yeah, it just makes it a bit easier pressing and not catching edges which is super beneficial when hitting rails and stuff as well, less catchy. And in terms of flex, what are we looking at on this? Oh it's soft, it's hard to find stuff softer than it to be honest, but so much fun because of it

Did you manage to get the opportunity to get it in the park today on any of the rails and stuff? Didn't get it in the park today but I have rode previous seasons of it in the park and stuff like that and it's always so much fun
