 One of the other biggest pros that i've really come to enjoy with these is using the curve options which are fantastic envelope, modifiers to add some great variation to the sounds. I have only recently picked up the 12 in the desktop format and that there is my biggest regret that i didn't do it sooner. I could quite happily replace seventy percent of the gear i have here with just the deep minds: they're they're, just absolutely absolutely astounding. Um sense having the six and the twelve together is just incredible what you can do so, if anybody's been sitting on the fence regarding the deep minds, i can highly highly recommend them um

 I actually find really quite straightforward on these, as well with the one button per function, there's really very little menu diving to be had unless you're going into you know kind of unusual territory having up to the 32 second envelope release time. That'S you know. It'S almost unheard of for us and which is just phenomenal, especially you know, with what these are good at and what they're known for, which, which is kind of you, know thick lush pads. I find that the presets on these are really inspirational

Great Analog Sound / Cheap Build ?

I have the Deepmind 12 and can definitely say that I would recommend it (I also own the Hydrasynth desktop). The Deepmind can definitely do most things you would want a poly synth to do plus the on board FX are awesome. It sounds absolutely fantastic plus having 12 voices is perfect (still have plenty when you start stacking them). It has a lot of modulation options as well

Hey all! I have some mono synths and want to buy my first poly synth. I'm looking to spend around $1000, no more than $1500. I actually did buy the Korg Prologue 8 off Reverb, but it just got refunded because the seller didn't actually have it in stock. I'm still leaning towards the Prologue, but, since I'm now back in the "looking" stage, I thought I would see what else I can find.

I've seen the Novation Peak and ASM Hydrasynth(desktop) on reverb for around $1k, both of which I would love to own, but I really wanted something with a keyboard. So I also seen the Deep Mind 12 within my price range. I think the Take5 is within my price range as well and would be something I am interested in. My reason for wanting a keyboard synth is simple that, with how my set up is right now, it's just more convenient than using my Midi keyboard. I'm looking for huge, rich tones with a clear bass presence and analog warmth.

Any Poly Synth suggestions in my price range would be greatly appreciated. What are your thoughts on the Deep Mind 12? Prologue 8? Would the Peak or Hydrasynth best fit what I'm looking for? Would it be worth restructuring my studio to better use those with my Midi keyboard?

Looking for Poly Synth Suggestions

First off, yes it is a fantastic and complex synth for the money and the 'general' build quality is excellent. However there seems to have been some quality control (or maybe just 'quality') issues with the key-bed. I've seen a few Youtube videos and read a few post with users complaining about 'dead keys'. This is where you play a key, but you either get no sound from that specific key or it doesn't consistently trigger a note

 Hopefully Behringer will perfect the Deepmind. It’s a great machine but it MUST be totally reliable.  Update - Had another Deepmind 12 delivered again it was faulty. It would not connect with my PC or iOS
