 I don't think I'd like to point that that I know a lot of people - probably just don't even care about you know, but me reviewing these products. These little things like this make a huge difference right. So, as you can see in the arm and then our mount right here, they have these little notches cut out and by the way your screw is in this. You don't got a funnel around with that right, but anyways

 You can pretty much take this stand and they mount BAM, get it into those grooves slide it right in there and you're good to go and then tighten up, but even before I tighten it as you can see how nice tight and secure it isn't right there. Just makes the installation process that much easier, and that also goes with attaching your bracket to your monitor, as you can see, have this plastic cover on it with your screws right there, and it just goes right in there BAM, slides into place lines up for your Screws and then just tighten it down and, as you can see with this cover right back here, this monitor is also vasive. Mountable are so, let's dive into the aesthetics of the monitor. Here again it is 27 inches and the screen is that matte coating screen

A MONITOR FOR ALL! 1440p -144hz -IPS  BenQ EX2780Q Review

 Other than that, I did not have any major complaints except the stand, which only supports tilt. The design is also great, without overly flashy gaming aesthetics, which I definitely like.  Now onto the main issue: the monitor I received has terrible color uniformity. I have read the reviews and I was prepared for it, but I did not expect it to be this bad

  Starting with the positives, this monitor has good picture quality thanks to its relatively high contrast. The sRGB mode is accurate and does not lock the brightness unlike majority of other wide gamut monitors, which is the main reason why I bought it. So about a year ago I bought a 4K Oled TV.. and ever since I've realized how bad the viewing angles and overall image is on my current main monitor. Since I started dabbling in photo editing somewhat I started looking into IPS monitors since it seems to be preferred when editing photos/general use.

I've never had any experience with either VA or IPS, only TN panels. My current TN panel is a BenQ XL2430T(24'' 1ms 144hz 1080p 910:1 contrast) and I've been contemplating a Bunch of different monitors, but alas I've narrowed it down to either the BenQ EX2780Q(5ms) or the Lenovo Y27g-20 ("1ms").(Odyssey G7 is like a plan B since I never used VA or a curved monitor)

Since I want to "upgrade" my current gaming/media experience I'm kind of afraid that the 5ms will feel like a step backwards. But then again I am afraid the lower contrast on the Nano IPS Panels might be another kind of step back.

TLDR;

Has anyone else on here done the switch from a 1ms TN to a 5ms IPS? What was your experience?

 IPS,144hz, and 2k combined offer enjoyable experiences.  Multiple color modes; I am mostly choosing from the preset profiles in the Low Blue Light mode, and they all look pleasing.  The design. The monitor looks modern, stylish, and does not scream gaming

As title says. Huge facepalm. Only learned today that HDMI wont cut it here. However, I'm not sure what cable I need to buy to get me up to the 144hz? Below is the ports I have available to me on my monitor (and I'm running a 1070 turbo, not sure if that's relevant). Any advice at all would be huge as I'm not very good with this stuff!

So I've been running this 144hz monitor at 60hz for 4 years....

 Decrease brightness and you don't get the full HDR effect.  Now for the part about me being half right about pairing this particular monitor with the PS5. I'll start with resolution. The maximum resolution of this monitor is 1440p, which is perfect for gaming on consoles

So anyway I just bought the LG Ultragear 27gl650f for 21k on Amazon ( gets here on Sunday) I don&#39;t have a PC but I&#39;m getting an Xbox series s from a cousin as a gift. And the crazy thing is the monitor was supposed to come today but when I went back to the page they were giving away a Logitech g213 keyboard with it for free ( the offer is still up btw and it&#39;s there for some other monitors too). So I&#39;m thinking I got a good deal and the monitor itself looks like its perfect for the xbox.</p>
