 So for that reason, I justify the size of it. All in all, I have to say that I'm super impressed here with this model, especially on the brightness side. This has 3000 ANSI lumens and is able to project even with moderate light inside of your room or even with your blinds open. If it's daylight time outside, you can still see everything with details with the BenQ TK850i

I had an BenQ W1090 for 3 or 4 years and was happy with it. It broke and I was searching for a replacement.

I wanted someting with a little bit more lumens so I don't need to play the movies in complete darkness, even tho I am mostly a relativly dedicated viewer, but sometimes I prefer a little light, and sometimes I just browse my desktop computer via my projector and then also have a little light coming in from a window, and also my walls are white, so yes, little bit more lumens then the BenQ W1090 would be really prefered.

At first I bought an relatively cheap Epson, maybe it was the Epson EB-FH06 but I can not say for sure anymore, and I did not like the picture / the contrast / everything looked washed out. I returned it immediately.

Then I bought an BenQ TK850i and I loved everything on this beamer, really nice picture, good lumen/brightness also on eco settings with not much noise, but one thing and it was sadly a deal-breaker:

Reaction time was super super high, even reaction time for sure is not my main priority, I don't game as often, but this was simply too much. I could not even stand the lag when I used the mouse on my computer on Windows, it was really to much.

To just watch movies  with this projector would be super, but I could not see myself gaming on it and really also using my computer via Windows was a pain in the ass bc of the lag of my cursor.

And also I found out I don't really need the 4k, 1080p is absolutely enough for me.

So basically I search something like the BenQ TK850i, could also be a bit less bright because in that departmant it was a beast, and yes with just 1080p and bit better reaction time.

And also I think that I prefer DLP.

Do you know something that would fit my bill?

1080p projector, living room but "dedicated use", I already tried some but didn't find one that I will keep...

How are people overlooking the light leakage?

 Now, one last thing that I didn't mention is that this is also a 3D 1080p projector. You do need special glasses that don't come with the projector in order to view 3D content. I, unfortunately, don't have those glasses and really don't care about 3D at this point, but if you do care about 3D, you do have that feature built inside of this thing. And beyond that, in terms of warranty, you have a three-year limited parts and labor coverage from BenQ, which is definitely not too bad

 That might mean the death of mainstream cinema as we know it and perhaps more importantly, you're going to have to step up your home entertainment setup a couple of notches. Now TVs are always great for convenience sake, but if you're looking for a real sense of immersion, I think bigger is always better and that's where projectors really shine. And today we're going to be taking a look at this thing. This is a native 4K resolution HDR certified DLP projector by BenQ
