BenQ X1300i

Hopefully, BenQ can come out with something soon enough. I mean, I really think the image of the X1300i looks great, so keep in mind these things keep...

But it's nothing you need. I just use the projector on my wall and it looks great. So those are my thoughts on this projector

If you’re set on Benq then look at the X1300i or TK850. Those would work much better for a backyard projector. Otherwise, there are a few 1080p projectors like the Optoma HZ39HDR that would probably work really well because of how bright they get.

If a new projector is more your speed, take a look at the [BenQ It would be fine for home theater/TV usage, but it's primary use case is gaming and it does that extremely well. It's just about at your budget as well.

**Ambient:** Controlled (pull down shades on the left, however leaks a tiny bit horizontally). **Room colors:** Ceiling is white, walls are all white, floor is grey wood (matte). I've got black fabric on my shopping list for the wall behind the screen & ceiling. I have read some articles about the BenQ X1300i and the BenQ TK700STi so far.

the x1300i, TK700STi, TH685(i) and TH585. The x1300i and TK700STi seem very nice for gaming, but clearly too heavy and too big. The TH685(i) and TH585 are a bit more portable, but still 2.8 kg (6.2 lbs), and their lamps need to be regularly replaced. Of course, Optoma and Epson also have low input lag projectors, but they are also either too heavy and often have lamps which need to be regularly replaced.
