Didn't work for my application

 You need good amount of weight to cast out. Definitely good if you're in the deep sea and just dropping straight down. Strong line, but to think for my liking.

Really thick

I've used this line throughout the years and dollar for dollar, it hard to beat. Tends to work better on baitcasters than spinners. Only thing I dont like is they dont have it in a yellow or high vis orange. I surf fish a lot and the birds tend to see those colors more than the Solar Collector

Tough line

This line is a little to stiff and retains a memory that just makes it fine for level wind reels but not so good for spinning reels. The lighter lines might be softer and work on spinning reels but the 20# or over is really a strong but kind of stiff line. Don't git me wrong, I really like this line but just so you know it could be a bit stiff for large spinning outfits.

 So, to the guys mentioned in the opening of this review: 1) Do not make claims that products are inferior or no good without first learning about the sport and the equipment used, 2) Never attempt to spool light duty reels with 20-25 pound test line, and 3), If the fish you are pursuing breaks 20 pound test BG, I say leave them alone. They will never be caught on a rod and reel.

Next, I’ve never experienced a single problem with BG—no premature breakage, no memory problems, no nothing--it simply works. The line is extremely tough and reliable (when used correctly). If you have 4 fishermen on board, the rods with Green line get bit almost twice as often, which means the fish are not seeing this line. Berkley big game, Green, is the best.
