 We decided to carry one, but they make a particular footprint. The copper spur ul to footprint for the tent and the footprint weighs in right. At seven point, eight ounces so for the entire tent, with the footprint weighs in right at three and a half pounds. So three and a half pounds for a nice through season, two person tent and again that's with the footprint

 You want to set up for me real, quick and show him the head room. It has plenty of headroom, so at night a lot of times we had a little mini uno deck and we would sit in here and just kind of play. Uno and [ __ ] around, and it was also great to get up in the morning, be able to fix your coffee right in your vestibule on a chilly morning. Sit inside have a cup of coffee eat breakfast get ready for another day of hiking

 So if you're one person looking at doing it excellent roomy tent for one person and to be honest, it's a pretty roomy tent for two people, so uh: let's throw it up for it and give you a little tour of it, alright guys! So here's the Big, Agnes copper spur ul all set up and ready to go. We have the fly on if you notice the fly has a double vestibule, so you have a door over here and come over to the side. We have another door, so you have dual entry, so it's perfect for two people or like I said it's also great for one person we know multiple people on the trail that carried the same same tent. We like to do our vestibule like this, so if you can see in here, snuggles is laying down relaxing and we always kind of kept our vestibule open like this

 Sleeping bag -- If I had no other items to improve, I'd buy a quilt, but I don't think I'll have the money left over for it. Bear Spray -- I am  more calm and enjoy the trip a lot more when I have the bear spray.

**Non-negotiable Items:**. Tent -- I recently got the Copper Spur HV UL2 as an upgrade from a 6lb camping tent and would rather spend money elsewhere. Sleeping bag -- If I had no other items to improve, I'd buy a quilt, but I don't think I'll have the money left over for it. I'm looking to gift my boyfriend a tent for our anniversary but need suggestions on which is the best fit. I unfortunately have zero knowledge on camping gear at all. I know they would like a two person tent and something that they can easily backpack with so not too bulky. They once sent me a link to a Big Agnes Blacktail Hotel Bikepack Tent that was used that they liked so I'm wanting to make sure it's something maybe similar to this. Two Person Backpacking Tent Recommendations

Light, tight, but saggy

I got something, which fulfills some of the desires you have towards a your future tent. :). It has a different footprint but also with 2 vestibules (1 on each side for the 2p-version) is the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL. I personally got the bikepacking version because of the shorter stems, but there is also a 'regular' version (at least when I bought it that was the lineup)

I'm in the UK, it rains a lot, even in the summer and like having a tent I can put the outer up first keeping the inner dry. I'm looking for a specific type of tent, essentially like the lanshan 1 style of tent, but where the outer can go up first, then the inner clips to the inside. I was looking at the Luxe minipeak 2 and I'm amazed by the options, but it's quite heavy, you do get a lot of space for the weight however. Any suggestions?

So I’m planning on going hiking in Scotland in September. I’ve done that solo 3 years ago, but will now do it with my girlfriend. I’ve a wild country zephyros 1 tent for solo hiking which I like. It does have some condensation issues, but I don’t mind that.
But I’m now in the market for a new tent for duo hiking. 

I need a tent with enough room for us both to sleep (preferably with our heads next to each other), and I need space for our backpacks (so either 2 vestibules, or 1 and enough room in the sleeping compartment for 1 backpack).

2 Doors (1 on each side) or 1 door at the head/toe space would be best, so no one would nee to climb over the other.

Since it’s Scotland, I do prefer a tent that can pitch outer first (like the zephyros). This way I can very quickly get a dry roof above my head to set up the rest of my tent, which I really appreciated 3 years ago, especially when packing up every day.

Last but not least:
It should be fairly light weight (it doesn’t need to be crazy light) and somewhat packable (my gf is pretty tiny so her backpack will also be smaller).

The price is not really important, I would like it to be as cheap as possible, but I don’t mind spending more on a solid tent. It should be a tent I can buy in Europe though. 


Does anyone know a tent that ticks all/most of my boxes?

Which 2 person tent to buy?

 Big Agnes gave me the choice to tape it myself or waiting weeks (and pay for all of the shipping) for them to sew it. At this price point, I expected a longer lasting product with better product support. I would not buy this tent again.
