The Big Agnes Rapide SL Insulated Tent Floor is supremely comfortable for two campers. The thick quilted padding and massive footprint dished out some of the best nights of sleep we have experienced in the backcountry. The insulation offered also seems to outperform the 4.2 R-value as the entire floor is insulated and sharing of body heat becomes a viable option when compared to two single sleeping pads.
The weight and packed size are important points to consider as this weighs almost as much as three typical single backpacking sleeping pads and has a packed volume of about 6 liters. While these are important points to consider for the intrepid backpacking duo, we found the positives to far outweigh the, well, weight of this pad.

Great product

 So for a short regular pad I’m looking at 18oz without the stuff sack and the most comfortable nights sleep I’ve ever had while backpacking. This pad is saving my middle aged self while out on the trail. Warm, comfortable and light. I’m in love ❤️

 The sides are a bit higher which keeps you on the pad. It also comes in a short version which is perfect for my 5’2” self. I finally found the one

I wasted a lot of money buying other mattresses in the past that caused me to wake up several times per night with sore hips and shoulders. This mattress, and the discontinued big agnes qcore SLX are the only mattresses I have ever found that are actually comfortable for side sleepers. This is what you want to get if you are a side sleeper!

The new pad is amazing with its quilted top and is very comfortable! I had no problem at all using the included pump sack to inflate the pad and have been very pleased so far.

Upgraded to this pad and it is very comfortable and reasonably lightweight.  I found a single pad for two people to be much more comfortable as well without adding too much weight.  I didn't find the bag included for inflating very helpful, but maybe I haven't gotten the hang of it.  Fairly easy to blow up manually
