I've been buying my bioderma photoderm max spray SPF 50 for a couple of years from Cocooncenter Germany. Last week i opened a new order and found that the sunscreen was completely different, white, drying, chalky instead of yellow and moisturizing.

 I bought this sunscreen based on Cereal Lauren's recommendation and it doesn't disappoint at all in a major way. Sunscreen filters like zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, and tenosob M, which are known to leave a white cast, are wonderfully missing in this formulation. The combination of Yuvinil A+, Hormosalate, Tenosob S, Octisalate, and Yuvinil T150 account for its SPF 50 Plus and PPD 20-42 rating. The PPD rating is based on the UVA circle logo and data from its Spanish site

Bioderma Photoderm Max Spray is huge and has very high UVA protection so it will probably do the job for working outside.

I work outside in Florida,USA with a uv index of 6-12 everyday depending on time of day.

As the title of my post suggests I'm looking for a "tank" of a sunscreen. Something that will offer the most protection against being in direct sunlight for 8 hours a day.

I know how a sunscreen feels or the finish is very big in subs like these but I'm just looking for the most protective sunscreen one can get. 

On advance I appreciate any suggestions I get

100% recommend Bioderma Photoderm MAX milk (I haven’t used the family one though). I use this on my face and body. It has a UVA protection of about 42 which is AMAZING! Also, it is well priced for the quantity and quality.

I have my everyday faves, but hiking presents a unique set of requirements to be met, particularly because I live in the mountains. What are some of your favorites? I'm looking for sunscreens that are:

\- available in large, economical bottles (for body sunscreens; face ones can be smaller)

\- high in UVA protection (ideally over 40, but definitely over 30) and maybe HEV protection, but the latter is secondary

\- fragrance-free

\- tenacious (I do my best to reapply but hiking is hiking--an hour of sweating can't decimate the SPF or UVAPF)

Alcohol in the sunscreen is fine with me.

I have the Riemann P20 for the face and am considering the Bioderma Family Milk SPF50+ as a body sunscreen. Thoughts?
