This basic corded Bissell vacuum lives up to its name by acing CR’s pet-hair tests. But it struggles to contain fine dust particles, earning a Poor rating on our clean-emissions test. A sizable dustbin cuts down on the number of trips you make to the trash can. The 27-foot power cord is a bit shorter than the standard 30 feet but long enough that you probably won’t have to keep changing outlets as you move around the house. Ultimately, it still does a good job, and we would highly recommend it to anyone shopping for a handheld vacuum to clean up after their fur babies.

Look at the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus if you're shopping on a tighter budget. It feels a little less sturdy than the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum and has a smaller dustbin, but it delivers broadly similar performance on thick carpeting. While you can't adjust its brushroll height, its position is set high enough to not get bogged down on long carpet fibers. If you're still having trouble moving it around, you can lower its suction using a slider. There's also a brushroll off switch, so you can easily free the vacuum if its floorhead gets tangled.

Unfortunately, while this vacuum's bagless design results in low ownership costs, there are quite a few parts that need regular cleaning, and they aren't always easy to access; just removing the brushroll requires you to loosen ten screws. Its allergen-sealing performance isn't particularly impressive either. If you don't mind replacing a dirtbag now and then, the Kenmore Intuition Bagged is a suitable alternative with much better allergen-sealing performance; however, it's harder to maneuver on a thick carpet.

I bought this vacuum because it was lightweight and I needed something that I could pull out to clean up our labs ever-shedding dog fur. I will say suction is pretty good. Where it's lacking is the availability of attachment options. I've been waiting forever for the "available soon" dust brush on the website but have yet to be able to get it

I am disappointed in the quality of the attachments. The machine is fine though. The attachments break down very easily. I used my main bristle attachment for 1 hour and it started over heat and it basically grinned itself apart

 The dust bin removes quicky and easily from the vacuum, but in order to empty it you have to pull out the whole filter system each time, not super easily and so you have to be careful when it comes apart the force from pulling doesn't cause the contents to spill everywhere. That being said, the actual filter itself clogs up significantly slower and less than other vacs I've used. It's also easily removable to shake out or wash. This vacuum makes my life easier in so many ways, it does an excellent job so far and would definitely recommend to others

I've had this vacuum a couple of weeks and for the most part I absolutely love it. I have a very busy cleaning business and use it to clean 3-5 homes per day. So far it's done excellent on every type of carpet and flooring it's come across. The suction is amazing and the power head even picks up some of the bigger stuff instead of just pushing it around

 It's also easily removable to shake out or wash. This vacuum makes my life easier in so many ways, it does an excellent job so far and would definitely recommend to others.

 It is light and easy enough to carry from house to house along with my other things. Cannister vacs are a total pain, and uprights are usually too bulky to get under furniture, and carry around, so the stick vac theme is usually what I run towards. It's just a matter of finding one with power. Versatility and time saver is a must as well, and not having to constantly stop and switch heads, and easily seperating parts to get in crevaces or change to an accessory is awesome

 The wheels squeak when we use it. I wish the vacuum handle locked the vacuum head at a 90 degree angle when not in use or idle.

Need a handy little vacuum for small jobs? Buy this one!

 By the way, you can only place the extra accessories, such as the dusting brush and crevice tool, on the wall mount and storage station, which is not convenient if you are vacuuming in one room and the wall mount is in another one. To get around this, I took a "tool holder (Part # 1610398)" that I had ordered for another vacuum, and it worked great at holding the accessories I mentioned. Overall it is a very good vacuum.

This little vacuum has great suction power, it is fantastic at catching dog hair and debris, especially from area rugs. It has a very long cord, which is very useful. As far as weight, I wish it was lighter, since it is quite heavy. It would be great also if it was self-standing, because I do not want to make holes in the wall to store it

 This vacuum got the job done and I'm glad that it cleaned all the dust in the dirt off my floors. I would recommend this product to my friends and family for the simple fact that it gets the job done. I also like that it has different pieces for small areas and corners.

What I like about this vacuum cleaner is that it was easy to assemble.I used this from my whole house And he got the job done they picked up all the dirt and the crumbs off my floor. Pet Hair Eraser vacuum cleaner !

 If you have multiple dogs with hardwood floors I might say try the more expensive one? Maybe it has better features and the suction might be better? But if you don't mind the extra work, then this one would be ok.
