I'm a little shorter but similar skill/weight. I went with the Black Crows Camox just now. I don't have much help - as I haven't skied them yet. Research says they are great for all-mountain use (I'm in the PNW Cascades)

Intermediate Skiier, 6’3 250lbs, looking to buy a new all-mountain ski. Thinking 184-186 length, 88-92 Waist. Some options below, any thoughts / advice?

Got my first season of patrolling coming up and was wondering if any one on here who has patrolled has recs as to what makes a “good patrol ski” or does it not really matter, or just other general tips for ski selection.

For example I taught a couple seasons ago and didn’t realize that kids would destroy my top sheets from stepping/skiing over them. Would have been nice to know about in advance.

I’m on the east coast so was thinking something skinnier, was also thinking a little shorter than what I usually ski would be nice since I could be a little more agile.

Looking to buy my first pair of skis. I’m a big fan of the Blizzard Bonafides, but wouldn’t mind something a tad quicker / easier to turn in trees and bumps. Ive skied the Nordica Enforcers and Armada Tracers but prefer the Bonafides. Like the Brahmas for the East Coast, but they’re not wide enough for softer snow out West. Other ones that might work: Mantra M6, Black Crows Chamox or Moment Commander 98. Thoughts on those vs. the Bonafides, or anything I’m missing?

6 feet, 175lbs, looking for a versatile all-mountain ski as I like mix it up between groomers, trees, bumps. No park skiiing or backcountry. I ski 10-15 days a year, mostly West Coast but some Ice Coast too.

All mountain ski recs. Anything better than the Bonafides?

The QST Lux 99 is great at holding an edge and absolutely pops off in variable terrain. Early season PNW snow was the perfect place to test the Lux, with plenty of hidden fluff and even more chopped up groomers. On the groom, turn initiation is a breeze, and it doesn't take too much work to push the ski up to speed without being overwhelmed by power.  It drives through the crud well enough, and felt stable when it got chundery

A Great All-Arounder that Does a Bit of Everything!

Ice is not her friend but soft snow and gully she will leave you with a smile as you pop around with ease,

These skis will shine in trees and soft snow. I bought them as a fun poppy option in the quiver for when there's some fresh snow and spring skiing. She powers through crud, and loves to play off piste. On groomers ehhh loses stability and the Edge hold at higher speeds

Solid steep and deep choice

I love these skis! I demoed them last year and waited till the off season to purchase them and I'm so excited to use them this winter.
