Introducing Black Diamond Performance Lifestyle Shoes

I've loved the Altama OTB Maritime Assault (thank you u/ABrotherAbroad!) for 3+ years and thousands of miles later. They are now a bit worn out and need a replacement. My only struggles with them in hot and humid weather and hikes where I have needed more grip. I did manage to climb to 15,000 feet in them, but it was not a fun ride down. 

I have a bit more space to potentially carry 2 shoes and a sandal.

Here are some shoes I am considering.  
Hiking and most use cases: get another pair of Altamas or if there is another pair of versatile shoes. Maybe Lems Primal 2?  
For hot, humid and city walking: TropicFeel Monsoon, Allbirds Tree Skippers, Vessi Weekend, Atoms, giesswein, Lems chukka canvas, Wilding Tanuki Yoru?

Some of my main Criteria:  
1. Should be easy to slip on slip off and/or supports drop in heal.   
2. Color pref: All Black or all dark blue.  
3. Company pref: They use eco-friendly materials

Any input or recommendation would be so greatly appreciated!!!!

One or 2 Shoe Recommendation &gt; Hiking, Dancing, City Walking

This is not an approach shoe.

Lightweight but poor quality

Toe cap came unglued

 There isn’t much arch support so I swapped the insole for one with more support. These shoes are quite narrow and probably wouldn’t work well for wider feet. One thing that disappointed me was that the construction seems so so. In certain parts you can see the glue and it looks like the rubber doesn’t quite line up

 PS, sizing is pretty spot on, but they are sized to fit a bit more snug than most sneakers so if you plan on wearing them casually, you might want to size up a half size.

I just received these and honestly I’m blown away by the comfort! I have not worn them outside yet but just from walking indoors they feel wonderful. Just the right amount of support, snug, but still roomy enough in the tow box. There isn’t much arch support so I swapped the insole for one with more support. These shoes are quite narrow and probably wouldn’t work well for wider feet

Holy cow, these are comfy!

Not as good as I was hoping.

These shoes are not supportive and rubber is excessively "sticky" yet provides no grip. I wear these shoes almost daily and they are falling apart after just 5 months. Holes are developing where the rubber toes join the soft top materials. The foam sole of the shoe is getting "picked" and rough from light contact with other surfaces

Poor materials and craftsmanship

 I originally ordered them in an 8 and they were way too small with a hiking sock on. Based on how small the 8 was I sized up to a 9. I wanted to have the option so wear a slightly thicker sock with them and the 9 was the right choice even though I was hesitant to go up a whole size from what I wear in some shoes. Overall happy with my purchase

I bought these to use as a casual sneaker for daily use. They are comfortable and look good with jeans which was what I was looking for. I wear an 8 and sometimes an 8.5
