They rivaled the Petzl Cordex in both comfort and durability but fell short by just a hair. We liked the stretchy synthetic backing and leather knuckle protection, which was breathable but not flimsy. 
The Transition gloves are dexterous for a full-finger model but didn't feel as dextrous or nimble as the Cordex, which are lighter and offer more finger and palm protection. The Transition gloves run small, and our lead tester, who typically wears a size medium, found a large to fit perfectly.

 I believe it's made out of goat skin. Let me double check here: goat, leather, so - and it's got the reinforcements here on the inside of the film and on the palm - and it does have Kevlar stitching in it and stitching - is very nice on all these gloves. Actually, they seem to be made very well again: here's your hole, you're, all it's song, both gloves, so you can secure it in the carabiner. This is a little spandexy, so it'll stretch a little bit, but it doesn't stretch that much because you do have this leather insert here which prevents it from stretching this way a little bit

 I mean they're, sick they're, going to that reinforcement weather is going to hopefully keep you from burning through your glove. If your belaying somebody, or even repelling so from a high distance or a long distance, then anyway, if there's anything else, you'd like to know about them or anything, I can point out or maybe show you on these gloves.  It takes some adjusting to get them to fit on my hands right. The Crag Gloves are much more comfortable, but these are much more durable. I might opt for the fingerless variety, but I wanted something to also keep my hands warm for alpine belays.

Definitely order a size up on these gloves! If you have the right size, they are comfortable and durable

 Would also like to share that the reinforced design across the palm to side of hand is why I bought these gloves. Expect them to out perform the closest competitors product.

I think this is a very well made glove, but it seems to run a size small. I am hoping that as I use it, there will be some stretch. It is a nice leather, so I am hopeful. If I can get it to fit, it looks like a very durable glove with lots of potential uses
