It is not durable enough as you can see now. Yes I can see three different scratches one two three.

So I'm fairly certain that this bag is great for one bag traveling or at least a weekend trip.

The big change is the new backpack, I went for a Black Ember Forge Max, and I love it :). I managed to pack more than I usually do on my Ospray Farpoint 40, without using the expanded mode. Below the backpack are my clothes for the plain:.

really good shoulder straps and a usable hipbelt. the shoulder straps are more important and i dont have a problem without a hipbelt but having one is a HUGE plus when going for hikes. \- i dont need one million pockets like Black ember forge but definitely more than a goruck GR1 the CHZ26 is in a sweetspot but one or two more would be nice as well. \- Laptop compartment isnt the biggest issue, i only carry a 11" Ipad and some magazines from time to time so low profile or internal Laptop storage is perfect for me.

The [Black Ember Forge Max](https://blackember.com/products/forge-max) sounds like it checks off all the boxes here. For me, its backpack mode is its least compelling, given how well it works in tote/briefcase mode and has the same orientation in shoulder carry mode. It's a very solid bag.

* Waterproof - Both the TP2XP and the Black Ember Forge are pretty much waterproof, from my home-faucet testing. Having been caught in a deluge before with a regular backpack and getting stuff like an external battery pack soaked, this feature was important to me and I think both will hold up to anything short of full submersion.
